and YELLING, and WAVING, and EXORCISE! (ok maybe not that last one)

All the other DJs are awesome too. I've still got until Monday to decide, things will be hard. You have no idea how badly I want to DJ at both clubs.

Also as far as the Circus Obscene comment... you go to City Club and have no right to complain. It's a damn MEAT MARKET! People go in there with the express purpose of getting laid and they actually can succeed a good 90% of the time if they really try.

I think you should go to a club and not act like a slut and show everyone that it's cool to not be a slut. But then again I never claimed to be cool (much) because no one cares. I know I'm awesome and that's all that matters, screw what anyone else thinks.

Also all you guys who sleep with tons of women, you suck too and are just male sluts as Anthony said the other night. Which just reaffirms the belief I've held on that for a long time. I've actually got (a little) more respect for whores because at least they're getting paid for it. I agree with both you and Cher about the sluttiness. One thing I LOVE about Deadline is the fact that the people (DJs and patrons) there are really into the music. I've been into the "goth scene" for years mainly because I'm a big music fan and collector.

K, I just got off the phone with Wilhelm and he says I can't have both and have to pick :( So I've got a hard decision to make ahead and I'm not sure which way I'm going to go with this. We just had a long conversation about it and I've got until Monday afteroon at the latest to make a decision. I love both clubs for different specific reasons and the people are great at both.

That's failed logic because I'm not a gay guy. How 'bout calling it a "bar for girls who are actually attracted to guys" because society tells us that we're not supposed to be...? Not saying all bi girls are impressioned to be that way, but I will say that MANY (note I said many, not all) "bi" girls are that way for either attention, because they feel they should (because it's all over TV, Cosmo, etc), or because their man likes it.

I really don't appreciate being brought up as an example or to be used in a debate on what is fair/what isn't fair. Not that I should have to explain my position to anyone but, I have good working relationships with the clubs I DJ at and have worked out agreements with each club owner to let me do MY thing without a conflict of interest. Wilhelm's reasoning for having SG choose one club over the other I'm sure is certainly valid and within reason. If Scary Guy can work out a similar arrangement, good for him and I'm sure he's got the negotiating skills to do so. If it were my choice, the decision would be quite obvious, DJ at a club where the music is the primary focus (Dead-Line) and people respond highly to it OR at some asinine night where music is secondary to the moronic side-show stupidity of a guy shoving a drill up his nose, flesh pulls and slutty fetish shows.

I'm sure this will all resolve itself just fine and let's let the parties who this really involves speak between themselves.

Well first of all, no one was trying to bring you into this drama - seems you just now did that on your own with this post above. Yes you were used as an example - you are a DJ that works on deadline night and at another club on another night... gee.... it was only a matter of time before someone put together that conection. No one was talking bad about you at all so I don't see the reasons for the pissyness or the insults - you are in the public eye.... get use to it.

Ya see Saint... there are people here on this board that are into the drill in the nose, the side show acts, the suspensions and as you call it... the "Slutty" fetish shows. When Rev & I did blood wrestling some years back, we were highly successful..

We had a huge blow up pool about 10x8 & 2ft deep.. & We had padding on the bottom to prevent injury.

I did a strip tease before getting in the pool, w/ lovely ladies helping me out of Me boots & such...

It was just Me in the pool at first, calling for volunteers to wrestle Me.. They had to pay to get in the pool...

I wrestled a few meat heads & one other dude who came prepared in all vinyl to get in the blood w/ Me..

Then I wrestled a hot chick {that was the plan from the beginning} we just wanted to get the crowd all crazy first.. We had men and women alike {old & young.. straight & BI.. goth & prep.. & all the whozawhutzles} surrounding the pool in awe of the show...

After all that.. Rev got in w/ us two girls, after doing a strip tease that mocked mine

The key was having everyone involved..

When we did ours, Rev was like a ring leader at a freakin' circus.. He was talkin' up the show the whole time...

I would imagine an incentive prize would be cool..

It's really fun getting you on the dancefloor because you really draw attention to it in whatever outfit you are wearing and that tends to bring others, or at least provide me with some entertainment while I'm giving you entertainment. Thank you for pointing that out about Saint too because I didn't even think about that nor think about bringing it up. It's reasons like this that I aired my business on the forum because it helps me keep things in perspective. I also want to know what the majority of people want and where they want to see me spin. I have a lot of friend on here and it matters to me what they think.

I really have no negotiation skills what-so-ever (goes with that lack of tact thing, so that is highly unlikely. Still that's not a reason to publicly insult the other night and now I see what you meant on the LJ. I know you're not really into the fetish (and goth/death-rock) scenes but that's no real reason to insult it and the people who enjoy it. I totally get your point of view though and thanks for saying in a round about way you'd like me to stay. But unfortunately it's not your choice it's mine and it is a hard one for many other reasons that I will get into later.

From a business perspective that's true, however I've never been a business man nor have I ever claimed to be one. I tend to get fired a lot because I never use tact and piss people off. I admit it may have been a poor decision on my part but it has it's good aspects as well. Think of it as market research I guess and you people get to be my focus group.

Probably the most mature thing I've seen in the thread so far. As always I love the debate, but I do wish we could be civil about things.

I'm sorry I'm the cause of YET MORE drama on the forum. But this is an important issue to me, mostly because it involves me personally. I totally get the fact that my music would be way more appreciated at The Works and that there are a lot of cool people there (Wilhelm included in that statement) whom I would miss A LOT.

Speaking of DJs getting fired for working at other clubs this brings back the Chris Rhon debacle of a few years ago when he got a job at Luna and then got fired the next week at City Club for playing "too much techno". Maybe Saint gets special treatment because the owners of City and The Works are friends, I don't know. As Saint said though it's a separate situation and it has different circumstances.

I'll post later today on my final decision... soon. Hopefully Wilhelm will change his mind, but I doubt it. He is a business man and NONE OF US can fault him for trying to do what he thinks is best for his night. He's been REALLY GOOD TO ME, and he's trying to do something good for the local goth/industrial scene, which is a good thing and I support it and him fully for that.

I do hang out with DGNers, I go to CC and will be hitting up Dead-Line soon enough because Dead-Line sounds awesome.

The preppy friend thing? Yeah, so what, I did some bar hopping when I first turned 21 and since there's only a few goth clubs in the area, I've been to bars and clubs that aren't "goth". Haven't you?
