You don't have to ask me this Tomcat LOL. I think you already know the answer. Good list Joey, the only thing I would add are the Kings of Nuthin. I would put them under the rockabilly list, but I don't think they belong to any genre per say.
Joey Deadcat
Kings Of Nuthin' are good. I used to think they were doing for rhythm & blues what psycho does for rockabilly 'til someone suggested to me that they probably have more of hard ragtime style. Used to always throw 'em on when I used to do my RUMBLE! nights at The Labyrinth and when I spun at 2500.
MarsDustDoug
Well I would name bands but Joey pretty much covered them all some of my personal favs are Rock-a: Amazing Royal Crowns (dont care if they had to change their name thats what they will always be to me), Horton, Ally Dukes, Three Bad Jacks, Johnny Powers, Moonlight Cruisers, Wanda Jackson. Psycho: Koffin Kats, Creepshow, Nekromantix, The Rocketz, Mad Marge and the Stone Cutters, the henchmen, Mad Sin, 7 Shot Screamers, Peacocks. Not a Tiger Army or Horrorpops fan at all (ok i like two songs from horrorpops and thats is Misstake and Crawl Back Home) Kings of Nuthin' are great! really impressed someone mentioned them (GO MEG!) Not many people seem to know about them

Simon Bar Sinister
Does Gas Huffer fit into any of these subgenres? For that matter, are they even still together?
TomCat
Does Gas Huffer fit into any of these subgenres? For that matter, are they even still together? Gas Huffer Bio I'd heard of them, and knew they were unique. They're more of a country influenced-punk-surf rock sound.

Simon Bar Sinister
Now that's a story to tell the grandkids around the fireplace! Hell, I'd like to hear it!! Not much to tell from my end; didn't actually meet him. Bobcat was in town to host the Detroit Music Awards at the State/Fillmore(he did that a couple of years in a row). He must've ducked outta there as soon as he could, 'cause he was there for the Cramps' entire set...or so I'm told. I didn't know he was there until my friend Johnny came up to me and said he'd spent the 1st half of the show hanging w/Bobcat. I was like "??" - he pointed up to the St. Andrew's balcony, and sure enough, there was Bobcat on the railing. This was Nov. '94, btw. I've got an awesome poster from that show; it's almost 3 feet square. Gonna cost $$$$ to frame, though. :(

MarsDustDoug
I effin LOVE The Cramps... Saw they were talked about a bit so had to chime in. Though the cramps arent psycho nor rockabilly they sure are effin amazing! "She Said" "Naked Girl Falling Down The Stairs" "Garbageman" "Teenage Werewolf" " TV Set" "Elvis Fucking Christ" " Dr Fucker" "Dames, Booze, Chains, and Boots" all such good tracks... Since we are on the topic of psychobilly and for the newcomers to the genre Ill toss a piece of psychobilly history out. Johnny Cash is credited with coining the term "psychobilly" in the song "One Piece at a Time" though the Meteors are credited as being the first band to call themselves psychobilly (there is a bit of debate on that last piece of info but its widely accepted and close to written in stone)
