Hey! Don't you mean me? hehe I'm guessing you have one of those automatic correction thingies on your phone. It was GREAT meeting you last night!!! You're so adorable!!!!

I met a lot of DGNers that I'd never met before. It was DEFINITELY a pleasure!!! I had a great time.

Umm.. I think they slipped something into my drink because I had only TWO drinks and I was GONE and a bit hung over this morning.. :jamin

Keep this night alive! I had a blast!

I'm going to start calling you hunger from now on...

S'what I meant (dammit, so used to the band that I tend to misspell the film title from time to time)! =P

Seen Nekromantik 1 and 2 too many times. Always thought the "love scenes" were hilarious. The films of Andreas Schnaas and Olaf Ittenbach are just as wild.

I like the soundtracks to Buttgereit's films as well. My favorite movie of his is "The Death King" ("Der Todesking"), which has never been released on DVD. I have an old VHS copy.

And how about Pasolini?

Sorry for thread-jacking...

Salo is what brought me into the foreign film world. Then there was Teorema and so on. Pasolini is one of my favourite directors.

:yes

We need to talk movies sometime...

Make sure to show up at Deadline next week. I could go on for hours.

Likewise. Thomas Video in Clawson has been a goldmine for years. They have any cult, bizarre, hard-to-find movie you can think of in stock.

I'm going to send Scary Guy some requests for next week. :yes

Oh please do. I'll play what I can.

If I do any I'll make sure it's obscure and in the back room only (if and when I'm ever in the back room).

I dont know where mine and scary guys playlists are

Yeah I still need to finish typing everything in and then send it off to Wilhelm. The first part of the night was pretty chaotic for me since I forgot my mouse at home. I called three people to bring me a mouse. Two of those people showed up (Jay and Chris WALKED from the area by the Leland hotel to do this, so I bought them $10 worth of booze and gave them a ride home). So the first part of the night was me and Nocker writing down our tracks using the oldschool pen and paper technique. Rest assured I'll have an extra everything packed for next week just in case my memory slips again. I will also type everything out fairly soon. I'm just really really lazy and have to turn on a light to read the paper, and if it's not coming from one of my four monitors I hate light. I'll get on it soon, promise :D Soon means after I'm done posting this. (EDIT: ok as soon as I hear back from Nocker since I can't read some of his handwriting).

I'm pretty happy about the new format too. We're not strictly goth up front anymore. Old school industrial is now in the mix (though we'll try to minimize that I think). We want feedback too, let us know what you think about the night and what we can do to improve upon it. We're not doing this for ourselves, we're doing it for you the valued patron. We're also certainly not doing it for the money lol. If we were we'd be doing top 40 booty music or work at a strip club making lots of cash.

I knew DJ Saint back in high school. We didn't go to the same school, but we knew the same people. Anyway, I haven't seen him in years, so we'll see if he recognizes me.

I hope he's there, he doesn't do it every week due to work and stuff but he really does like doing it and he tries to make it out when he can.

He really needs to update his website though http://www.djsaint.com

I'll update mine when I get it back up.

So, will the DJ rotation change on a weekly basis?

Kind of... not really though, in the front room will be Nocker, Scary Guy and Wilhelm. In the back will be Saint (as long as he can come, he is busy with Darque productions among other things) and Stevie. There will also be guest DJ's coming in from time to time. I know DJ Meta, Moondancer, and Joey Deadcat will be among the guests, and im sure there will be plenty others.
