Dating.

Recommended Posts

It's become readilly apparent to me, and those near me, that my efforts to date, post exorcism have, well, been more dismal than a Three Stooges Hunting trip. I think I've narrowed down my problem(s). I shall share my knowledge with those of you foolish enough to care/listen/read/sympathize..blah ..blah...blah:

In No particular order:

Listening= letting it be known that you're a sucker

Giving=being taken advantage of

Honesty=getting honestly taken advantage of

Consideration=making it known that you are ready to be taken advantage of

Loyalty=the one who's taking advantage of you knows you'll stick around until they ring you dry.

dancing=tiring yourself/and your date sufficientlyso that they cant hook up with you later, but sure can make out with someone else in the corner on your way out of the bar.

I'll add more, this is but the first of three installations. :doh

Been there. Done that. Glad it's over. It's not cool to feel like you've been screwed in a way you weren't fantasizing about. No lube, no goodnight kiss.....

Yeah, no "happy endings" hand job or road head...to build upon Brenda's comment. :devil

I think I've given up on dating entirely. It's just not worth even trying to pretend it's worth any effort.. It always costs too much. :(

wayy too much!! i agree

I never cared for going on "formal dates" or whatever. It seemed so much better to start off simply hanging out and not thinking of it as a date. Granted there is a huge difference between hanging out with friends and hanging out with someone whos pants your trying to get into.

Currently its non-issue , since I'm spoken for...although I hope I didn't just curse myself by saying that.

Yeah, I agree... It's just been such a rough, painful and disappointing year.. I'm seriously contemplating becoming ceilbate and solitary until further notice. It's amazing how many times you can get screwed over in one year.

LoL...celibate eh? not sure I buy that, heh.

Some would say stop looking but at least for me that never worked. Since I know I don't have that type of attractive personality that draws people to me, if I didn't take the iniative, I got nothing. Some people are lucky where they don't have to really do anything and people just seek them out of a crowd.

i've never done the dating thing. i have been on "dates" but i am not really comfortable in those situations. i always liked the hanging out with friends, getting to know each other that way. then you become "boyfriend/girlfriend" and then it is more comfortable to do things alone.

I'm married, yes. That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy road head.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

oh no no i don't think it was bout that. i think it was that we are married and not allowed to comment on things of a "single person" nature ;) like dating and how the opposite sex sucks. and not in a good way.
