I've never been. And I want to go. So when I get back, who wants to go with me? I don't know how to get there, or really much about it, but I really want to go.

Everytime I want to go, I end up here in Iraq, or I can't get the weekends off for it. *my work really sucks*

Always going as many weekends as possible. Its likely that I will be going next weekend and then both Daevion and I may be hitting up the place again the weekend of Sept 14th. Most likely it would be Sunday Sept 16th or something.

I will be enroute to the states that weekend to demob. The weekend that I get to Michigan, I am spending with my family.

Well, there are still 2 weekends after that which will be open. Everyone always plans on going the last weekend. I certainly do the day after we have our party at the apartment here in Ypsi/Arbor.

do they sell harry potter house robes there?

I am sure they have similiar fashioned ones if not exactly. I bought a velvet cloak that is really heavy from a lady there. Cost me like $250 but I have only worn it once to there since then after I bought numerous other articles that I liked wearing better. So now I will probably be selling my cloak so that someone can get some use out of it. Problem is, that its a long one that came down to my toes and I am almost 6'2. I dread the shipping cost of e-bay but I may try it.

This weekend is the "Shamrocks and Shenanigans" weekend..... being just about the only real irish minstrel there I will probably be busy, but if anyone is there, come see me.... you dont have to see my show, my music is pretty traditional, and sometimes kind of depressing..lol..but stop me and say hi.

My first shows have been at 11:00 am at the Dragons Breath deck/stage. It is just inside the main entrance, and down the hill, across from the fountain and the coffee shop. Check your schedule for Conor Savage.

Also doing the main Guinness Pub at 12:15 and 5:30.

Here's hoping I get to meet some more of you...

I am hard to miss, I am the only guy there who looks like "bad santa".....hehe

See ya;

I took my daughter today and searched high and low for SavageMistrel with no luck. Of course, it being packed with folks did not make the searching easy. Had a great time. Pics below are my daughter and I in our garb and were taken at the end of our very long day.
