Sweet, gratz and thanks for posting the playlist. Hope things work out for you at city club!

I keep thinking i should add a play lists forum , but im not sure how much support it would get. <ponder>

Thanks much.

Going to try to post Saturday nights playlist every Sunday. Tons of new music constantly to introduce alongside the old favorites - so hopefully we can keep people informed and curious about what was being played.

Not many DJ's post their playlist so having a separate forum may not be necessary now and it doesn't seem to be an intrusion on the nightlife, events and concerts. If anything changes let me know and I'll be sure to post in the right spot.

Once i get my health back in gear. (I've had some serious issues, but im working hard on getting my act together) I'll have to come down and hassle you in the DJ booth for a bit. =P

Just as a random suggestion, having heard complaints about "the city club music" for 12+ years now, it always seems to center around too much "new stuff". I'd say 99% of your city clubbers, even the fairly hardcore ones, are not so familiar with the music as you and i are. We have heard X song a billion, gazllion times, but they have not. They bitch, it seems , almost uniformly about "the bad music" when the music being played is heavily little-played music.

We music-nuts i think have a tendency to want to hear "fresh" things, and also impress our fellow music nuts, but the average clubber gets lost in the mix.

As far as the playlists, im just wondering if its something there is a demand for in terms of posters. I could start hassling DJs to post their lists if it might actually help draw people in, and be something that would actively get used. But, as you say DJs don't seem to , in general be too motivated to post playlists these days, as such it would probably be a uphill battle to get enough content for a whole separate forum.

Oh and yeah this is the spot for play lists. Feel free to post as much stuff as you want. =-)

Comes down to the whole "you can't please everybody" situation I guess.

Also I remember when people used to post playlists. I have all mine on my website http://www.scary-guy.com/playlists going back to my first days on Audiotech Live. I also used to post them here before I started the website archive. I also remember when they got posted on that other lesser forum fairly regularly. Seems like no one cares these days though.
