Hey, hey. Nice choices, but Warhol was an important artist from the early 1950s on. It's just he didn't make rock a project of his until the late 1960s. He was an influence on culture before that though.

Ok I didn't know that, I am sorry. When I think of Warhol's influence on music I automatically think of the VU.

Oh yeah. And personally, I dislike the end products of Warhol's work...but I've read a bit of his theory in Jean Baudrillard's 'For A Critique Of The Political Economy Of The Sign' and I really thought it was a fascinating approach. -Great book, btw.

No. It was not M (Morrissey?). I've been thinking about it too...I believe it was Bowie, but I don't want to say. It's just some lyrics i had in my head. Honestly can't remember.
