We need more, how do we get the others to come back?

That's a hard frustrating situation for the land owner, there needs to be a solution for them and if the city/county isn't helping they're backed in an corner, totally unfair.

Both looking forward to and dreading this weekend.  Winter camping for scouts for my kid, it's  in a cabin so we're not even roughing it, that's not why I'm kinda blah about it, it's having to take off 3 days right now when I've got tasks and work piling up that's hard.

Robinhood just broke past $15 this morning at open. I feel like this. Also still not selling.

Yup, a normal house on a rental here is MINIMUM $1,000 and that's in a place you wouldn't want to live.  Shit, just to live someplace where my house wasn't getting broken into, I could send my kid out to play, and I don't have to worry about getting carjacking at gunpoint like my neighbor did my MORTGAGE, not even rent, is $1,500.  And that's with a good interest rate.  If Doug and I were working a general labor job instead of learned trades we'd be underwater.  You can't live in a safe neighborhood with a house that isn't dilapidated in any kind of actual suburban or city setting working a normal job at some place like Meijer.  Anyone who argues otherwise does so out of ignorance and a lack of life experience, periodt.

Yup, caring about immigration imo is inherently racist because you don't see anyone trying to stop people from Europe or Canada coming here, just from places where people are black or brown...JUST sayin

Makes me feel like I'm part of an actual community, not just random goths all floating about.  That's kinda what Troy envisioned, it seemed like City Club wasn't really "enough", like sure it's nice to see everyone on the weekends but staying in touch digitally brought so many people together before the time where other social media became the mainstay.  Also nostalgia. Also there's a staff chat hot tub in the moderator lounge.

We used to make posts and reply to posts very specifically to post whore and raise our post count. There were two people in particular who were very good at this.  They shall remain nameless but i will say that they still have the highest post counts on the board.  😬
