  1. I know the feeling. They seem to have plowed only half of our street so my car has been regularly pulled over to the side in the snow bank that became an ice bank. That was after me and neighbours were able to rescue it from the depths of the backyard where the other two still are. I had to shovel through that crap so Phee could get in the house. It was bad enough trying to walk through it, but to have to crutch through it??? Yikes.
  2. I feel like Mazda sends us the coolest toys.
  3. Like I need to leave to go get Phee and stop and put gas in my car.
  4. OMG, I'm giddy at the prospect that I might be able to rescue our other two vehicles from the depths of our backyard, where the snow was to deep, then iced over to encase them!
  5. Light blue Harley Davidson baby doll tee with a white tank under it and light wash flare Mossimo jeans with buttons on the pockets. White socks and my black and hot pink Globe skate shoes.
  6. I just looked outside ... at the fog. Oh well, at least it's supposed to be WARMER tomorrow. Like a WHOLE LOT warmer.
  7. I feel jealous of Marc right about now.
  8. Like I should go eat something and get dressed before I go pick up Phee from work later.
  9. Framing Hanley's rock version of the rap song "Lollipop". It's actually a quite amusing remake. edit: Link: http://www.youtube.com/user/framinghanley?ob=4 ((Oh my ... the lead singer He's the one who starts out talking to the girl apologizing for his friends in the video))
  10. Wondering if the roads are still made of ice ... it doesn't look any different from here.
  11. Dragged????!!!!! I'll go!!!! I <3 Applebee's!!!
  12. For Washtenaw County (because that's where I live and what I get .... but all surrounding counties have it all too)
  13. Laughing at my dog -- who got stuck in my coat again. I expect that from Phee's short bus dog ... but my dog has done it twice now.
  14. Me too. I have to haul off and drive to the south next week. *bangs head on desk because she doesn't want to go!!!* At least it will be warm there.
  15. I did that this morning in the Mazda taking Phee to work. Decided I was staying in when I got back until it cleared this evening.
  16. If I ever decide to write a book about my life -- Phee must write it. And I get to leave soon to go get him.
  17. Cold ... and I wish 11 pm could get here so I could pick up Phee from work and we could sleep.
  18. ((((hugs)))) and my thoughts go out to that family. They had to give me Epinephrine (amongst some other stuff) recently when I had an allergic reaction to MRI dye, despite my steroid prep. Not surprising to me, though it was to them, since both my parents have had bad reactions before to it. My mother went into anaphylactic shock. Anyway, that is some crazy stuff .... I had a headache and the shakes for days. I get to go do it again next month with a different test requiring the dye. *fake smile*
  19. I was disappointed that I texted my daughter around 9 am and she never answered. I figured her father took her phone away -- like he usually does when he picks her up. But my Mom just texted me and told me she is texting her. That made me happy.
  20. Planning my trip and printing the maps (I am so last minute -- I leave Monday or Tuesday ) ... well, I will print the maps when I get the new ink cartridge in. And laughing at my dog who has weaseled his way INTO my coat to sleep. Silly Zoomy.
  21. I'm debating whether to read my daughter's copy of Twilight ... but I'll only have about 4 days to read it ... maybe I should wait.
  22. Like I caught Phee's cold. Hit me suddenly this morning. Took him to work, parked my car back in the ice bank because evidently while I was gone yesterday the city came through and only plowed half of our road. *confused* Hooked up the vaporizer and now I am going back to bed and try to sleep this off until the meds work. And wait for my kids to call because they are at their Dad's.
  23. Waiting on Azueron to get Phee home safely from work so I can go help him from the car. And take the trash out in the process.
  24. This was looking out from Orchard lake Road, stopped at the light at Long Lake Road: (Normally you can see that dark spot of land pretty clearly) This was I-696 Westbound between Orchard Lake Road and I-275 at about 3:00 pm today. I've been out in this stuff since the huge snowfall on Friday, it's all been the same.
  25. I ended up driving to Waterford and back in it. It sucked. My little car slid all over the place *mental note - all season ultra high performance tires don't nessicarily mean they work well in the nasty snow crap of Michigan* ... I got some pictures with the camera phone I'll upload somewhere later ... but it took me somewhere between 4 1/2 - 5 hours to get there and back. It's freezing rain here now.
