  1. Keep in mind, they are rough mixes:) Two new songs: "Mirrors & Reflections" and "Awaken" http://www.facebook.com/DKonstruct Enjoy!
  2. I am still looking for the right place. The lady that runs the warehouse never got back with me. It is hard to find reliable people in Detroit. But mark my words, I will find a place eventually even if I have to open a bar myself![ quote name='Troy Spiral' timestamp='1342294537' post='750197'] I assume this never ended up working out? (just quoted the topic more so the more recent posts above might get a response, some people that aren't on that much don't even realize they have replies as by default the board doesn't notify you of a reply unless its quoted... hrmm maybe that should change. /ponders
  3. I agree Christopher Meloni rocks this season. I was bummed when he left SVU
  4. If anyone's interested, I will be out at City Club tonight selling tickets for the show as well. Hope to see some of you out tonight. It has been too long....
  5. Any True Blood fans out there? Enjoying the new season?
  6. Our new album "Kill Your Memories" should be out this fall. We're doing a lot of out of state shows this summer but you can catch us with Covenant August 21st at Smalls!

  7. Darque Productions and Doc Colony proudly present: COVENANT wsg/ THE BREAK UP D:KONSTRUCT GHOST SYNTHESIS DJ Elektrosonik in between bands Tuesday, August 21st at Smalls 10339 Conant St. Hamtramck, MI Doors @ 8pm ALL AGES WELCOME Pre-Sale tickets on-sale May 18th - $18 After July 21st - $20 Day of Show: $25 COVENANT ------- Igniting the E.B.M. scene with unstoppable dance floor hits, Covenant remain the mark to reach for many new emerging bands. With the perfect combination of Eskil's haunting, dark, majestic vocals, pulsating techno beats, creative noise samples, and amazing synth work, the band has created a strong North American following as well as an enormous European base. Their sound has been compared to an assemblage of styles ranging from Prodigy, Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Apoptygma Berzerk, VNV Nation, and Kraftwerk; but the final result is like nothing anybody else has been putting out. Covenant has redefined the way Electronic Body Music is perceived and have become one of the premiere acts in the genre the world over, spawning massive club hits such as "Stalker," "Der Leiermann," "Dead Stars," "Bullet," "Call The Ships To Port," "We Want Revolution," "Ritual Noise," "Lightbringer" and more. THE BREAK UP ------- Somewhere around the millennium shift... It was a night that lasted into the wee hours of the morning (or did it last for days?) filled with much debauchery, intoxication, insomnia and inspiration that brought on "Casio Confessions", the first jam sessions of Shane Allen Hall and Severina Sol. It was a match made in, well...under the stormy skies of the great NorthWest! At the time, Shane was a digital hardcore DJ in the underground Seattle party scene while Severina was a bleeding siren of song for the likes of Fockewolf and Diva Destruction. Those first seeds would take time to grow into the beautiful birth of The Break Up as we know them now. Coming together by their own talents and gravitational attraction; The Break Up would create a great disturbance of movement and sound, color and depth. "Retro electro with a hearty helping of dark pop songs full of grit and attitude that would surely remind some of the likes of Berlin or The Human League in their darker moments." - (ReGen Magazine on The Break Up) D:KONSTRUCT ------- Nominated in 2011 as one of Detroit's best electronic/industrial bands at the Detroit Music Awards, the energetic power trio D:Konstruct first had its beginnings in 1999, when project founder Robert Vandergriff, lead vocalist and song writer, moved to Michigan in search of musicians to form an industrial music project. Over the years, the project morphed from the more industrial sounds of the past to the catchy electro dance music they make today. Eventually, Robert hooked up with Jon Yowell (drummer) from Oppfor and Mike Phipps (keyboardist and backing vocalist) from Pulse State GHOST SYNTHESIS ------- Ghost Synthesis is a new project from Detroit producer/composer Jeff Rebrovich and songwriter/ sound designer Rob Hogue. With its dark cinematic orchestration combined with nightmarish sound design, clever programming, cutting guitars and synth work, Ghost Synthesis is aptly named. The self-titled debut album is slated for an early summer release. Facebook Page here
  8. Thank you to everyone that come out! It was a great night. All the bands did a great job and the crowd seemed to have a blast. See you again soon!
  9. We hope to see some of you out for this. We will be playing a few new tunes. It is gonna be a fun party! I was told also that there is food at CC afterwards from Doc and an after hours party there. Doc is also holding a raffle for God Module tickets as well. Please RSVP on the Facebook event page: http://www.facebook.com/events/211266198968911/ Thank you for your support and have a good weekend! Robert D:Konstruct
  10. Thank you all for coming out last night. Sadly I must say that the numbers weren't large enough to make it a regular thing. The owner just didn't make enough money off of the event. Thanks to Token for giving us a chance. As for me, I'm finished putting together events. I will focus on D:Konstruct from this point on. Thanks to everyone that came out and supported one of the events I put together over the past few years. I wish the other local promoters, DJ's, Collective, etc the very best.
  11. Tonight is the night! We hope that this is the beginning of a really good goth night for the metro area. Remember, we can only do these kind of things if people make the effort and come out. I promise you a night of great music. I've gotten a lot of great comments about this event. Please make lots of requests for the DJ's! We want to play what you wanna hear. Thanks again and enjoy yourself this evening! Cheers!
  12. Tomorrow's the day. If you haven't rsvped yet, please do so today. Thanks and we hope you have a good time!
  13. So who is plan on coming out this Friday? We need bodies in there to make this thing a regular event. Please let me know here and or rsvp on FB. If we are able to do this regularly, I will be picking the next set off DJ's for the next one. So DJ's come hither as well as anyone who wants to help me in planning, promotion, etc. If all goes as planned, Diary of Dreams will be playing this fall! RSVP and email me if you have more suggestions, concerns, etc. Thanks
  14. Great! Hope to see you there and thanks for helping supper the night.
  15. Thanks, I hope people come out for this. It is difficult to find a club owner who will allow us to set something up like this. For them, it's only about the the draw at the door and making money. If all goes as planned, Diary of Dreams will be playing at Token later this year. They are not asking for much and it is something we could easily set up. I just need people to come to the event. Please rsvp if you're coming out for this and spread the word.

There is plenty of free parking, safe neighborhood, great staff, excellent sound system/lights, drink specials, and much more. Friends and Fiends come join us for a new era in entertainment in the Detroit underground. Doors open at 9pm till 2am 18+ $5 21+ $3 The Token (formerly The Token Lounge), 28949 Joy Road , Westland, MI
  17. Good news! The owner called me today and he wants to give us a shot on January 27th. If the night builds up enough momentum then it will be a regular thing. John the owner is a pretty cool guy and the staff is super friendly. I will post a flyer soon. Thank you all for your input and feedback. I hope this will help to strengthen our local scene and promote some business and fun for everyone involved. Robert
  18. Token was and is still on occasion a metal bar. Many of the acts I've seen there border more on the death metal side of things. The atmosphere is kinda like Northern Lights a little, not so much like Irock. The staff are super nice and the place is pretty clean. The sound system is awesome. Hope this helps
