They are performing each night of the Dirty Show...I am going to be performing on Saturday, February 13 and Friday, February 19. Tszura I hope you will be there on Saturday night long enough to catch the show. I am not sure yet what time we will be on. But it will be great to see you either way!

I have been going to the Michigan Renaissance Festival pretty much every year since 1997. In 2002 I was part of the entertainment and was Mother Nature in the Childrens Realm/Enchanted Forest. In 2004 I worked Front Gate. In 2005 I worked/ran Pet Registration. Since then I have just been going to MRF as a patron every year. I started going to Silver Leaf in 2007 as a patron. I also went to ValDay in 2003. As Mother Nature at the Michigan Renaissance Festival 2002 At ValDay in 2003. I am on the top left. At MRF in 2005. At Silver Leaf in 2008. At MRF in 2009.

I have a cynical view. I think that it is all based on money and who is giving it to whom. Big tobacco has deep pockets, and likely have more power than we realize over our politicians. They are trying to squeeze out any competition by encouraging the ban of "flavored" cigarettes and it is marketed to the public by saying we should try to save the children. They give in a little by having to lower the amount of nicotine in their cigarettes. But ultimately big tobacco is trying to get ahead and try to keep as much of the market share as possible, especially with all of the smoking bans happening. And right now they do not see marijuana as a threat. But when they do I am sure some sort of action will be taken. And whoever has the most money wins unfortunately in our current political system.

Whenever I hear reference to a black dress in this way it makes me think of Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's"
