No foul committed, just uncanny timing

I go up to CC about 4x a year. I always request the same two songs - The Art of Suicide from Emilie Autumn and Trance Planet Vortex from Hanzel und Gretyl. Mostly, just to see if I can get either played. About 25% of the time I get to hear Trance Planet lol.

I've never worn sparkles. In my younger years when I actually tried to look pretty, I did it. Ah...so many years ago....over a decade since I last did that.

As I'm sure you know, The Inferno is just part of The Divine Comedy. If you are going to go with Dante, I'd use something from Purgatorio (Purgatory) or Paradiso (Paradise).

I was looking at the request sheet. Some interesting songs, a lot of songs that boggled my mind on it. Alas, my attempt to get something played failed lol. Probably a lil too obscure. I've yet to manage to get some Emilie Autumn played lol.

Additionally - would you like to see more or fewer DGN events (not counting the Saturdays at city club)?

After reading this topic it got me thinking. Jest and comedy aside, what kind of events would the DGN community like to see? What suggestions does the community have for events?

Personally, whenever I go to see a show - be it local act or national act I show up long before doors open and stay til the last note is played for the night. I've become fans of a LOT of my favorite bands over the years that way. Some have gone on to become quite large nationally.

The sex toy party one...man we have some interesting personalities on here. I'd be amused to see what shows up there! A sex toy party unlike ever seen before! As for the blood drive - oh man would we freak out the red cross! Pester a moderator - ya never know, one of us might actually take one of these and run with it at some point lol.

She highlighted the section about being right wing hate mongers my friend. Again, I see no mention anywhere of them fostering an act of terrorism. Asking for evidence of them being right wing hatemongers would be a valid challenge, in my opinion.

History Channel just recently had a show about that, the first "human" inhabitants being effected by a strike.
