Just read "I Will Repay", one of the many sequels to "The Scarlet Pimpernel". Very fun, not as good as the original, of course... I think it's time to take a break from the good ol pimpernel for a while now though.

Sad indeed!! I had heard him talking about opening it back up. I was so excited...so sad now. :/ Well........ yeah..a new place...like maybe...Deadline? XDXDXD Still...damn...I totally missed it. Can't believe it.

Maybe I'll call up Crofoot tomorrow and see...if their ticket window is even open during the day? I still need verification that it is indeed Crofoot and not St Andrews ...it seems weird that the official pages would both be wrong. I wonder if there are any charges through the presale and therefore still cheap to buy straight from box office, or if there are no charges that way...?

Oh dear lord... Thank you god for making me unaware of the /cgl portion of dgn until now, and damn you god for now making me aware of it... Posting cosplay pictures... 'win' when you are complimentary, 'fail' when you are calling others out for failing. Oh well. I just hate the attitude of cgl that if it's not perfect or you aren't perfect, it's a pos...when all these kids wanna do is have a little fun and maybe learn how to sew. No, it's not bitterness over having been called out on cgl for cosplay - I've never been. It's just a general 'f that' attitude I have. I used to cosplay back in my day, and mine were never perfect, but I do think a few were cute, and it would have made me sad to be posted on there just because I didn't look like the anime turned into live action around me. Oh god, somewhere on the internet there probably exists photographic evidence of my past days...a scary thought, that. Scarier still is the fact that I'm considering breaking out one of my old costumes and wearing it briefly at Acen this year, just for the heck of it. Though I'd almost certainly get posted on cgl negatively since I don't weigh 100 pounds and am not 5'0".

With Necto on Monday, Mode tomorrow, and City Fri Sat, I'm just full this week. So I'm not gonna be there tonight...sorry... D: But I know both Joeys won't be there, Tracy now won't be there, Anthony won't even be there (and what's a Deadline without Anthony?), and basically just...yeah... I'll probably be there next week though.

Where have I been? I didn't even know our Stevie was in a band!!! (And looking so cute too...) I wish I could go, but I *must* go to the Depeche Mode party...grrrrrrr at things being on the same night...grrrr.....

Wow, no one's posted here in almost a month??? Sad.... I'm reading The Scarlet Pimpernel for the 3rd (?) time...I love this book SO GODDAMNED MUCH. So much. It is excellent. Very recommended. I haven't posted in a while because I haven't been reading very much, and when I have....it's been really silly kid's manga. XD hahaha EDIT: Finished it. It's a quick quick read. Anyway, you can read it online here - the original is the one third on the left, "The Scarlet Pimpernel". I recommend starting there. It's actually the only one I've read, but now that I know of the others I will be reading them as well!! XD

I am pretty okay with this upon reading their definition of 'obese'... If you literally CANNOT sit in one seat with a seatbelt on - even with an extension - you will need two seats, and if you literally need 2 seats, 2 full seats by yourself (ie not overflowing into the seat and person next to you, but requiring that no one sit there), it seems fair that you have to buy 2 tickets. When I first heard this I heard they were going by the technical definition of obese...just overweight... My parents have a wii fit and it tells me I'm obese. I know I could lose a few a few dozen pounds, but I don't know...I don't really feel obese. (Maybe I should..) As long as someone my size wouldn't have to pay double, I don't see the issue...I'm never taking up more than my space, even with my skirts and pettis on I fit nicely into just one.

I can't do that....I think he tried to hurry once he heard the sad in my voice...but still...urge to maim slightly is still brewing lightly under the surface...but greatly lessened by how fast he got ready...

Well, I had planned to get there at around 10, and was expecting to leave at 9:30...and apparently I'm not leaving for another hour. At least. I'm SO glad I'm sitting here all ready to walk out the door with all my makeup and hair finished with my corset on. Wonderful. This brings back memories of real high school dances... So irritated...

Oh did they play awesome stuff earlier on? I didn't even get there until 1:30...but they played a lot of good stuff after that.

You know, I have a feeling that it'll be at least half normal Necto-goers anyway (I mean fashion-wise)...so you could just throw on normal club-gear and come out.

It was a damned good night. Damned good weekend actually. Both Friday and Saturday night kicked ass. Very very nice job by all 4 DJs - I had such an amazing time. Got a lot of good dancing in. Thanks guys - you all ROCK! I very enjoy. :D:D Saturday was...hmm...what to say? It was a fun night. Crowded, but as expected from such a beautiful spring Saturday night. Even though I didn't get there until like...1:30? Latest EVER... oh wells. Construction on 696 did not help all weekend. Anyway, when they called 4:30 I was shocked...it felt waaaay earlier. You know it's a good night when you think it's still 3 when it's time to go. <3<3<3

I'm putting together my 'prom dress' now...throwing and safety pinning random bits of other pieces of clothing together...it'll work out. If nothing else I'll be ruffley!! XDXD See you all soon!! :D
