  1. Very well said. I had a similar conversation when I was there on Friday.
  2. Can't wait to get out of the house and get down there. I don't care if it's dead more than usual due to NYE being yesterday.. I'm gonna have fun damn it lol
  3. why am I still awake? and.. Don't feel bad, I won't have a NYE kiss either...
  4. Funny thing is, 85%-90% of the time this usually kills the floor. lol I just don't see the big deal, and I've been going there for 15 years. So they played something out of the normal. It's not like every weekend they're playing less and less ebm/techno/synthpop/industrial etc... I dunno.. Maybe I'm one of the few that think this way.
  5. If I walked out of city every time a song or artist I hate was played I'd never be there. Doesn't mean I'm going to run around crying because it was played. People take this way too seriously and act like the dj's should be stoned to death for playing something outside the normal genres heard at city. Don't like the song? Take that time to go visit Bishop, Anita and Marv at the bar and get a yummy drink.
  6. I would rather hear Lady Gaga get played than Wrong by Depeche Mode get played every weekend.. lol (don't hate me dj's!)
  7. o.O It's funny that people complain about Lady Gaga being played, but the dance floor was still full when it came on and people danced to it. A very loved patron of City Club requested it.. and it got danced to. Sillier crap gets requested..
  8. The only way the employer would not be responsible would be if: The employee was intoxicated or under the influence of drugs while at work The injury was self-inflicted The employee violated the law The employee failed to use safety equipment The employee failed to obey safety procedures The employer is responsible for the injury if: It resulted in personal injury or death It occurs by accident It arises out of employment It occurs during the course of employment I would definitely follow up with a lawyer. All Michigan businesses are required to carry workers' compensation insurance. There are no cases in which a Michigan business would be exempt from carrying it. I would also contact the Michigan Workers Compensation Insurance department, and see what cages you can rattle there. WCA Page I love it when my college education comes into use for something. LOL
  9. maybe.. it's my daughter's 13th birthday that day though, so I may go Friday instead, if I go at all lol seems like every time I say I'm going I end up staying home
  10. way beyond confused, I don't know what to do next.
  11. Oh I know it's not about the money! It just sucks that I can't go because of the stupid stuff. I know you guys are all about bringing your music to the fans.
  12. I wish I was going too. However the Michigan economy is not being nice to be and I am broke beyond broke, with no one calling me for any interviews. Yep, I would protect him without question!
