About to take a break.  It's too hot to work right  now, but I will be fitting the entire cat habitat and backyard structures with chainmail...a.k.a. chain-link fencing attached to everything. 

About to get ready to take my sister's cat to their vet appointment in a bit.

Feeling so blindsided by the events of this year.   This time, I woke up to the sound of dogs around 3:40am this morning.  They got into my yard and destroyed the cat habitats and killed two of my Fur Babies.  One of the 2 dogs ran into me as I was rushing down to see what was going on, so I got a good look at it.  A medium sized, dark brown and white, stocky built pit bull.  Trene saw both of the dogs trotting down the main street after I chased them out of the yard.  They were still hunting, chasing and barking at things for the next hour, in the distance.   I worked quickly to get things back to a sense of normality for the survivors.  Fortunately, cats live in a "Now" state.  They will know that a couple of them are missing, but they move on to create new normals.   I, on the other hand, feel very drained and tired of stuff like this.  I was so busy trying to protect the area from other people who had been spying into my area that I forgot about the 4 legged variety.
