Dude was super cool, then they did a hatchet job on him just because others told him he was abnormal. Normality is relative. Somewhere else, he'd be worshiped as a deity. However likely he was fine, and this is purely vanity. Vanity is a fine reason to get surgery, but we generally hold off on vanity surgery until we are adults.
