First lot: 5 Tutus/petticoats/crinolines

Recommended Posts

First of my lots of clothing for sale.

I am hoping for $150 on ebay (Ones similar to the yellow one by the same company generally fetch around $50 alone)

If anyone is interested, let me know, including your zip code for shipping. I'll give you Paypal payment info. Once payment is made, I'll pull the listing.

Note: Mannequin is a very small size. All items are adjusted in place for display, but do fit a 26/28 as stated.

Collection of plus size tutus or petticoats. Mostly tulle, with some satin or lace accents. I wore these when a size 26/28, with a large stomach. Each has elastic waist. Each as follows:

Very full vintage red tulle with cotton waist by Ruthad, Detroit, Michigan. Internet searches place this 50's and up, cannot confirm. Measures 20" long. Waist was pulled up by original owner and tacked with large stitches - easily removed to allow for more length if preferred. New elastic was also put in. Black overlayer is a double-layer of pointed-hem black tulle and was applied by me with large stitches and also can be very easily clipped and removed if you prefer. GORGEOUS scene stealer at the club, and hard to let go of.

Vintage yellow tulle with satin edging by Malco Modes of California (internet searches date it from the 50's or 60's). Measures 25" long. Tag says "medium" but I find that hard to believe - I am a 26/28 with a disproportionately large waist measurement and it stretched to fit me fine. Very possibly made of nylon or rayon - both of which dye beautifully with Rit dyes. My intention was to dye it green or orange, but did not get around to it.

Violet/purple Torrid brand - unworn with tags. Torrid size 3/4. 15" long. Stretchy, satin waist, tulle with lace edging in a double layer. Note: My picture's color came out odd. The inset picture is the original one from the Torrid website.

Black Torrid - worn once. Size 3/4. 15" long. Stretchy satin waist. Tulle with lace edging in a double layer.

DIY Blue tulle. Homemade by knotting strips of tulle with diagonally pointed ends to elastic band. Length of strips vary, longest being around 33". Made by me but never worn.

All items come from a non-smoking, pet-loving home.

wow , not that I can find a use for them but you always do a good job of describing / photographing things. (i think one of the reasons my ebay designs back in the day weren't all that great was I was just bad at the presentation).

Hopefully someone will snatch all your stuff up.
