kat (1)
Actually, We could use any size men's clothing for our clothing closet. We have need for women's clothing and hygiene items as well but most of our consumers' that need clothing are male. Any help is appreciated and the donations are tax deductable. Thanks everyone. kat (1)
Thanks for the response everyone, The agency is Downtown Detroit, just a few blocks from CC if anyone can do drop off's I will post the address and drop off times, if not I will arrange some time to meet up to pick the items up myself I will just need to take your address and phone numbers so the development assistant can send you a letter and a tax deductable reciept. @ Nienna, yes books are great too because the agency has a literacy program so that works perfect, thanks so much... We have consumer's with babies so baby items will be good I think also:) Thanks so much. Edited August 2, 2011 by kat
kat (1)
Okay, here is the information for donating. If you prefer to come down to the office we are located at 10 Peterboro, Detroit Mi. We are between Cass and Woodward. Come into the main office to the security desk and ask for Lee Grant who will assist you with taking the donations, they will also provide you with a donation form. You can also call me at either 313-833-4620 ext 6411 or my cell at 313-740-3989 if you need anything or any more information. If you would rather me make arrangements with you to meet up somewhere and pick the items up I can do so as well and I can bring you the donation form and we can complete it right there. Thank you all for your help it is much appreciated and needed. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
dragonluv
Tis very kind of you to do this. Just because you have to, does not always mean going the extra step. Not being rude by saying that. My apologizes, I am late. If I can help for future, I will try. I hope life been good for you. Hugsie!!!!
