Watched an old black & white called the Apartment with Jack Lemon and Shirley Maclaine. Great movie. Gonna have to start watching more classics me thinks.

Classic movies are awesome!

Let the Right One In.

An EXCELLENT movie. Probably one of my favorites now.

That's because it is one of the best movies ever. Ok here's a funny thing. I wanted to completely hate the remake--Let Me in. Then I read the reviews and it sounded amazing. So, of course it bombed at the box office.

WTF is wrong with people?

You know, I have yet to see that. I really need to go through my list of classics and finally get around to watching some. I haven't seen Citizen Kane either.

skip Kane...great cinematography but BORING.

Casablanca is the perfect movie. Every line that's said you just sit there and think, wow. So intelligent, but hilarious. You can't believe how subtle and yert cutting the movie can be.

I love subtle sarcasm. That's probably why I havent gotten banned. I dont just say blatantly nasty and confrontational shit like some people. It takes more effort, but its always funny and more enjoyable.

I could watch that movie 100 times.

CITIZEN KANE--Now, Nocker, yohaven'tdon'tu're a cinephile with leanings towards darker cinema, so you were set up for failure immediately. Like me, you probably read a million times how the movie would change your life, all the secrets to the universe would be revealed, and you'd have a cinegasm only to be rivaled by reaching nirvana while sucking your own penis.

Ok, maybe we read different tomes. But still it wasn't my favorite, but I still thought it was interesting and beautifully shot. The opening scene alone was better than Paranormal Activity, which I know isn't saying much, but still. I liked it a lot. I just wish it wasn't sold to me as the reason for living.

So, in summary, Spook, I think it's great, but no matter what you think, you still need see Citizen Kane, if for no other reason, to say that you saw it...like Two Girls 1 Cup

Last Movie I Saw---Sophie's Choice. Wow! Holy shit. What a movie. Despite having a lot of talking and being slow-paced (well except for the scenes when Kevin Kline is jumping around the room coked up swearing) it's thoroughly engrossing. And the "choice" scene is one of the most powerful scenes I will ever see in my entire life.

That, and it's the only time you get to see Meryl Streep say

"You look very nice, you're wearing your cocksucker" (well the only time except for All about Meryl featuring her first all anal three way with Nina Hartley and Marilyn Chambers---She's never stretched that much for a role before)

----------------

You know with terms like "torture-porn" for liking movies that feature nothing but torture, I wonder if there's a term for Jews that watch Holocaust-themed films

Casablanca is one of my favorites, Citizen Kane not so much. I saw it a couple years ago and think I ended up playing with my phone through half of it.

    • I had two dreams last night. The first was about a man in a director-level importance coming and going from his office. He had trouble with his feet, and it was painful for him to walk. He wore large, warm boots similar to mukluks but comically large. He shuffled while wearing them. When it came time for an important meeting, he switched to a different, more normal boots and walked normally despite being in pain. Then he returned to the large boots. I was watching him from a mall bench outside his office the entire time. The second was about me and my coworker sitting in a room similar to a large, tiered lecture hall. Our boss would bring us comically tall stacks of paper and told us to sort it. The papers were large packets of information on various things, and most of it was basically meaningless. We pointed this out, and my boss shrugged and said "I know" and gave a sympathetic half-smile. There was no way to sort it in a way that mattered. Eating strong cheese before bed is a fun experience. I highly recommend experiencing cheese dreams at least once in your life.
    • It's Tuesday and I'm thinking it's time to get things done.  I just decided to start all over again from scratch. 1. Handle Truck Situation 2. Handle Appointment 3. Handle Yardwork 4. Prepare for Wednesday
    • Why has there been a truck parked outside my window for hours? Glad I don't have a stalker because this truck would be blocking their view.    Had  a dream I was in Pennsylvania with my bf but he didn't look like my bf it was one of them someone physically represented him but you just know it's that person dreams,  ya know?

    • Finally getting things streamlined.  Just need to wait until tomorrow so I will know which direction my truck will be towed in.
