Look What I Found

This is a female Argiope aurantia, or Banana Spider. :)

Some folks call them a writing spider, as they create little zigzags in their webs. The "writings" are visible in the UV spectrum, and are believed to keep birds from flying through their webs. Birds can see ultraviolet. :geek:
