She IS the homicidal heathen, after all. Don't worry, though, f*cker had it coming. (joke)

I don't think I'd be very interesting here, I'm too much of a good girl...

And the things I *have* done, my mother would never have thought to tell me not to...

When I first went to college my MaMa warned me to "be careful around those rich white kids" because they had parties with "bowls of drugs" on the coffee table and people would put drugs in your drink when you weren't looking (this was pre date-rape drugs). Of course I immediately threw in my lot with the craziest white kids I could find...

...but 28 years later I'm still waiting to get invited to one of "those" parties.

LOL. My mom HATES it when I walk out on the ice barefoot. She can't understand why I laugh about it even though my face is cringing in pain.

I used to love doing that too buy my mom claims she got hook worms that way....dog poo in the grass, worms can get in through your feet.

I just stopped going barefoot pretty much last year because someone BESIDES MOM told me she got them that way.

Hookworms (Ancylostoma)

Hookworms are the most common canine intestinal parasite in the United States, infecting nearly 20% of all dogs. Hookworms attach to a dog's intestinal lining with hooklike teeth.

Hookworm infection is transmitted by ingesting the infective larvae (which usually live in soil) or by the larvae attaching to and burrowing through the dog's skin. Once inside the dog's body, larvae travel to the small intestine, mature, mate, and lay eggs. The eggs pass into the soil through the dog's feces. Hookworm can also be transmitted through a nursing mother's milk.

Since hookworms can penetrate skin tissue, it is possible for people to pick up the larvae when walking barefoot on infected soil. Children should not be allowed to play in areas where dogs defecate.

Symptoms of hookworm infection include the following:

Anemia (severe cases)

Diarrhea

Diminished strength and vitality

The worms feed on the host's blood. Puppies can develop life-threatening anemia from blood loss even before eggs are detectable in the feces.

Hookworm disease is diagnosed by examining the feces for eggs.

Several oral medications are available for the treatment of hookworms and several preventative monthly medications are also available. Pet owners should discuss the options with their veterinarian.

    • What If I actually finish my Masters degree? Like what if I don't screw up? I mean I am almost half way finished. The part that scares me is the amount of money that it costs and the fact I have to do an internship the last two semesters,  I mean I have burned some bridges in the field um, lots of bridges like I'm cool with people from Jobs I've quit though but this field I been kinda medically retired and it sucks, I want to try and fix myself..my health has improved a lot but I'm still crazy as hell. My bf was impressed because when he first met me we was drinking one night and I was being a goof as I do but all of a sudden my mom's friend called me and wanted me to help her with a situation involving her son and the court system and I immediately sobered up and told her what they should expect and what they could do and my bf was like,  wow, you just snapped right into business like no problem.  I was like yea, I'm not completely crazy yet. Lol Ok ramble over. I'm killing time until this Midnite and Nyquil kick in.
    • The poor lady across the hall is elderly and lives all alone. She has a cat at least one that I seen on her balcony (we had a staring contest) Anyway, the cat piss stench permeates all the way through the door into the hall and into our apartment.  It's so bad like concerningly so. She is very independent, seems very sweet but I don't think she'll allow me to help her out because one day she was trying to get up the stairs with a couple bags and I offered to help but she thanked me very gratefully and said she was OK. I don't want to say anything about the smell and my bf is nose blind and only noticed because I pointed it out.  The smell though..I hate seeing elderly people who have noone😢
    • ..and went for my fifth walk today just now.
