Metal invades the traverse city film festival!

I went to the tcff this past weekend and was introduced to the metal band ANVIL. For those of you who dont know what this is its a film fest started by michael moore. Anyways i attended this documentary about anvil a metal band from canada. In 1984 at the super rock festival bands like mettallica, and anthrax went on to sell millions of records. Unfortunetly anvil has had a real streak of hard luck. most metal bands will tell you to this day that anvil set the bar for metal that came out at the time. Now these guys are in their fifties and are still rocking and touring on their own. They all have families and day to day jobs and after thirty-five years are still dedicated to the music and eachother. I had the honor to hear them play after the film was over they rock. michael moore found the documentary and wants the whole world to hear anvil. I ask all you metal heads to check these guys out i think its about time they got their dues.www.anvilmusic.com
