Stromkern

Stromkern are one of the most distinctive electro outfits around today, combining elements of electro-industrial, EBM, dark synth-pop and even (gasp!) classical as well as hip-hop. Originally formed in 1994, Stromkern has been making waves in the world of EBM and Electro since inception. The mastermind behind this elaborate project is the classically trained Ned Kirby (vocals and programming). Ned's early experimentation with a 4-track and a sampler laid the foundation for what Stromkern has become today. The bands latest release "Light It Up" (Featuring the club hit "Stand Up!") tackles not only their mutating, genre-bending industrial-rock angle as well as Kirby's classical piano training, it also seethes with anger over the turbulent socio-political climate of war, terrorism, globalization, corruption and greed rife within Kirby's homeland of the United States. With a recently wrapped up 4 month tour as support for Front Line Assembly, Stromkern have honed their live show into a fierce unforgettable performance.

Imperative Reaction

Gaining immediate attention for their stunning debut ( some years ago on the legendary but now defunct Zoth Ommog label ) then returning with the brilliant 'Ruined' in 2002, 2004's "Redemption"and the bands most recent "As We Fall", U.S. electro act Imperative Reaction have matured into a league of their own, and become one of the major contenders in the field of dancefloor electro. Combining aggressive, uncompromising and relentless beats with smooth programming, highly charging sequences and accentuated vocals, Imperative Reaction creates songs that will get stuck in people's heads as well as challenge their minds. From supporting VNV Nation on their 2005 and 2007 U.S. Tours, to the recent reissue of their debut CD, Imperative Reaction is a band that continues to gain momentum and should not be missed.

Ayria

Canadian singer Jennifer Parkin has become a true icon on the electronic scene with her unique writing style and personality. After her departure from Epsilon Minus, she shook the foundation of the scene with the extravagant “Debris” album of her solo-project Ayria on which she mixes straight old-school EBM with smooth electronics while giving a nod to electro-clash. Her newest release "Flicker" continues the musical progression with a combination of aggressive EBM cuts and more melodic synthpop / techno tracks lavished with rich and expressive female vocals. An astounding palette of edgy electronic styles perfectly fitting the impressive vocal range of Miss Parkin.
