mauraway
Hi, I was wondering about the price there too, so I checked tripadvisor, expedia, travelocity, and hotels .com. All seem to indicate that the cheapest rooms are about $82/night. I haven't seen hotel rooms for under $40 in years, but you never know. There may be some out there. mauraway
t1m3k1ll3r
Ask for the City Club discount, $39 for a single room, and I believe its 45 for a double and 55 for a suite. Even really crappy rooms, anywhere down there generally run 60-80 bucks. Im not sure if its still active but the "city club discount" was a reality as of about a year ago. ( get the emails still but i've never followed up on any of them)

Homicidalheathen
Yah if you can get an HONEST clerk. I got ripped off last year because I didn't know the 'city club' rate....they charged me 50 bucks.
holliwood66
omg, whatever you do: pay cash!!! The bitch behind the counter yoinked my credit card # and charged $2000 worth of crap to my card before I found out and put a stop to it. I came within an inch of royally trouncing her skanky ass (esp. after DPD laughed their asses off when I called to file against her...I know they have murders and things to deal with, but puhleeze!) /end rant

It doesn't change the fact that it is one creepy place. That whole building should be hit with a wrecking ball.
