Fierce Critter
I'm not celebrating his death. But I sure as hell am not mourning it, either.

Onyx
When I think of Jerry Falwell, I think of the Bible, in particular this part: Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Absinthe
I am in no way celebrating his death or demise as I would not celebrate anyone's...but I will say it is people like him that twist things and give Christians a bad name. Not that there are not thousands more that do this...but he did it like no one else. He had a way of twisting things to suit his supposed purpose. But, in my opinion, if someone thinks Jerry Falwell spoke for Christians the world over, they were kind of narrow-minded to begin with. And KnowBuddyCares...they had televisions IN THEIR STOMACHS and the sun was the FACE OF A BABY. I don't care what people said about Teletubbies, that shit just needed to go. Way creepy. Unfortunately alot of uneducated Christians thought he spoke for them. Then again...those same uneducated Christians think George Bush is speaking for them as well.
