Well, I had a good time!

Didn't get up and sing last nite, but it sure was fun to see all of you guys getting up and struttin it!

It was nice to finally meet you Meggy, CatsEye, Bullet Guy, Screaming Guy Greg, and The gothmama for like a second.....I don't think I officially met Klause but I saw you!! MarsDustDoug.....um....see below. lol....

Happy B-Day Again Draco!! :happy:

I was absolutely blown away by the attendance last night, I so wish I didn't have to work and could socialize with everyone. Grr. Well that will happen soon enough as I gave my notice last night. I am fairly (if not absolutely) certain that we can still have "Freaky Friday" there monthly. The busiest I have ever seen the place has been when DGN comes to town.

Now for the fun stuff. This is what was missed by anyone not in attendance, told from the point of view of the Karaoke Host:

GothicMama: She was a riot. I would call her name and she would look all excited, get up to the front and you could just see the nerves set in...once she was on though, she was on, singing, dancing, expressive as can be. Especially a hoot since her songs included "Milkshake" lol. :respect: Never saw anyone do that one. I tried it one before but didn't get more than 10 seconds in and realize I didn't know it. Once she was finished, the nerves would set in again and she'd go sit down. If only she never had to leave the mic, I think she'd enjoy it even more

Klaus: As soon as glc came in and sat down, Klaus is up on the mic singing "Down under". Cracked me up. Who in the world even remembers that song!! :thumbup: Lol. He said that he had it in before glc arrived...I think maybe he did. Great job on it too!

Brass Fusion: Klaus steps up to the mic for the song of "Billie Jean" (did very well) but even better was Brass fusion doing her best Michael jackson impression on the dance floor. :laugh: That was just awesome!! Btw, Great job on Heroes this time. I think we got the key right for you :animier: Still don't recall hearing the Bowie version though....

Pharoh: His one song of the night was Plush. I turned the song off on him like 10 seconds in :oops But he recovered well. I wish he would have put in more songs...a bit earlier next time :wink ; Thank you so much for gathering everyone so quickly for the group pictures.

Jeremy: Sweet Child of Mine was good, but the most standout thing for me about Jeremy was his dancing. Not only did he do an attention grabbing dance solo to Rick's Mountain Music, but you should have seen him dancing with Al....lol, "Dip it Low" fellas :thumbup::bow

AstralCrux: I think she gets the overall crowd pleasing award. This would be for her off-beat wonderful songs, like "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Time Warp"....both which she shot daggers at anyone who would try to duet with her. She is an independant woman and did both male and female parts of Time Warp.

It is lunchtime...I need a snack. :ice: to be continued....

Who is "screaming guy Greg"? hmmm...ponders.

I went, it was great to get out and have a good time, though I am paying for it at the moment. I have a headache you would not believe.

I met some new ppl. I finally met Kelly!! YAY! :happydance Mars YOU ROCK! Draco, Klaus, GM And Miss Brass =) ::hugs::.

And of course James, he doesn't post here but he was awesome (one of Mars friends). He kicks ass because he love movies and most of all because we share a love for Godzilla, James you rule! :happy:

I had a really great time. It was also great to see some faces I haven't seen in a long time. I should go out more often. :happy:

I had me a blast. Im glad my boy James got along so well. I knew he would hehe. he has DGN written all over him.

Got to fianlly meet so many more DGN'rs and spend some quality time with a big bowl of biscuits and gravy. hehe

Kelly,Meg, Marblez, Brookie, CatsEye,Draco,GLC,DBK,GothMama,Klaus,Pharoh,Froyn,StrayBullet,Brass... you all rocked last night! so much fun!

And I seriously agree about the DGN girls... one word... MEEEEEEEOOOOOOW

I need to get me out to more DGN events hehe

I fully promise to do something equally as embarassing next freaky friday as well.

I had a really great time last night and it was such a great DGN turnout. I also enjoyed meeting everyone that I had not met before and hope to see you all again real soon.

Milkshake was a really hard song to sing and I don't think that I will attempt it ever again but I still had fun doing all the songs cause I love performing. I also tried to dance while singing which isn't easy to do after drinking 3-4 of those awesome sex on the beaches.

Now that I'm a little less hungover here is a better summary of my night. I really liked finally meeting:

Marblez- I wish that I could've talked to you more but you were working & congrats again on your engagement. I loved when you did Ballroom Blitz also.

Megalicious- It was finally nice to meet you & thanx for the compliments on my daughter. You have a very cute lil one yourself.

Catseyeofthewiccan- Very nice to finally meet you.

Glc- Loved your accent & I could have talked to you all night.

Marsdustdoug- I was a lil tipsy when I met you so I didn't get a chance to really talk to you much.

Manicqueen- Wish I could have talked to you more as well.

It was nice seeing the people that I already knew as well. Such as:

Klaus- I love you & had an awesome night.

Brassfusion- I always love hanging out with you.

DBK- I was not feeling too good when you got there so I didn't get to talk to you.

Froyn- Always a pleasure.

Pharoh- Nice to see you again.

Draco1958- Happy birthday!!

Slingerlandstyx- Loved when you did guns and roses.

Astracrux- I really loved your selections in songs.

Kellygrrrrrl- It was nice seeing you again but wish I could have talked to you more.

I know that I'm probably forgetting a few people so just pinch me if I did.

Fun as always...It was great!! I brought my roomate, Christian, and some allready know Joni...Last "Freaky Friday" I went to was so much fun I told Joni and Christian about it I didn't give them the option to go...I TOLD THEM they needed to go haha!!

Well, we had so much fun...though Christian was being shy, he may be joining the board soon,

Aside from seeing all the usual "DGN'rs" and having a blast, it was great to finally meet Meg, Mars, Glc (though it was abruptly breif), James and Klaus (turns out Klaus and I share a freind)...I'm so glad I finally met you all!!

Mars, man, I.M. me, we need to hang out...something tells me we'd have a blast!!

And Pharoh...dude, you grunge rock singing kicks ass!!!

Thanks to everyone for the compliments on my Richard Cheese, I tried my best to hit those keys, but my voice was dying by the time I got up there to sing, I couldn't do my best...maybe next time I'll do better...

Now, I do have to brag about something, just because I'm a shameless prick like that...

IT WAS MY IDEA FOR THE GROUP PHOTO!!!

(It started when I asked if James could take a picture of me, Joni, AC, Meg and Kelly, but then I wanted Pharoh and Mars in it too, then I was just like; "Wait, let's get a group picture!!") I couldn't have wished for a better picture!! Thanks everyone for gathering around for it!! As soon as I get a copy of that picture, it's going in my myspace!! I can't wait untill I get it!!

I had an awesome night, thank you so much everybody for welcoming a stranger so openly and warmly. I tried to get around and talk to everybody, but some of you I only got to speak to briefly, unfortunately.

Can't wait to see the photos!
