Peter Hook Talks Controversial Joy Division Tour

Klayton's a really, really nice guy, and a dvd filming is always an important event for a band. I hope this is well-attended. Although Celldweller isn't exactly my cup of tea, if I weren't working, I'd totally be there to support.

I don't think it's celebrity worship to appreciate the contributions a person has made to the musical world. Annnnyways.... Steve Stoll is pretty slick as well. I recently read an interview with him where he said something to the effect of "I feel that to be a true musician, you need to have an open heart and an open mind." I could not agree more. I can't stay all night as I have to dj, but I'll definitely be stopping down early to check this out

I was really disappointed when the Ferndale location closed, as that was the one that was easier to get to from when I lived at the time. I still stop into the Gratiot location occasionally (admittedly, not as often as I would like....) and this is really sad news. We're running out of record stores 'round here....

I was actually asked to DJ last week when Jen couldn't make it, but declined due to being sick. I can't make it next week as I'll be at a show out of town, but I plan on gathering up a big group for dinner/drinks/dancing the following Tuesday

Just got in from one of THE BEST retro nights I've ever had the pleasure of DJ'ing at/attending, NoirRetro. Thanks to Scary Guy and the staff at Northern Lights Lounge for having me out.
