  1. I had such a great time! I went there to see the bands play, not really knowing what to expect with them playing at CC. I have seen Dkonstruct play at Luna before and that is what prompted me to go. They were better then the first time I seen them and Cybertrybe was kickass as well! I really enjoyed the crowd that was there too. It seemed like a more mature group instead of the usual _____ (I'll let you fill in the blank). I have not been to City Club much lately, but if they have those bands play there again like that I will be back. They should do that on a regular basis, maybe once a month or so. Good to see everyone!

    Cheers!

  2. I liked it, but it left me with one question...... Who was this girl he seen sitting in the chair and right before he crashed? Was she just a hallucination? I am really excited about the trailer for the movie Thirst that I seen when I went to see Moon. I can't stop thinking about it. I have heard great things about it's director.

  3. I seen this movie when it premiered this past summer at the Traverse City Film Festival and I have to say that it was terrific! It is very different from your typical vampire film. It was my favorite of all the films at the festival that I viewed. I loved it completely. I will not disclose anything about about the film. Although, there is one scene that answers a long standing question, that I am sure has crossed everyone's mind at one time, about vampires that has never been answered in any vampire film I have ever seen. The writers answer anyway, but a good one. I just want to highly recommend it to all!

  4. Does Luna still do that live-band nonsense on Friday nights? I used to like Luna for Friday nights, but I stopped going when they started that.

As for Saturday, if I have the means to go to a club, it's usually City. There's no way I would have the energy, or the money, to do two clubs in one night.

I think they do still have bands at Luna on Fridays unfortunatly. I used to love to go there on fridays too when chris rohn was the dj, but not now that they have bands.

  5. I have been going to Luna/the old Groove Room for many many years and in my opinon it has never been a "goth" club. They have always played great music that goths happen to like as well as many other sterotypes, but thats why I thought it was always labeled and called itself, an alternative night club. I prefer it over cc for many reasons that others have mentioned...cleaner,better neighborhood, great drink sepcials, and better music! The djs there always seem to play requests unlike cc and the staff, as compared to cc, is exceptional! I prefer thursdays a luna over any other night especially when the bartenders put on a dance show. There are really only 2 reasons I like to go to cc...its open late and the wonderful dgnrs that I get to socialize with there. You guys are fabulous! Last saturday at city I was sitting down and looked over my shoulder to see this nasty guy & girl fuking /sucking right next to me. It was sick and disturbing and I did move away, but the image was burned in my brain. Take that shit home or to the hotel. CC is so nasty in that aspect. All in all I do prefer Luna!

  6. I loved Bubba HoTep... I'm just sayin'. I don't think that movie gets enough respect for its humor and enormous creativity. Army of Darkness is better known and that was a piece of shit.

He seems like he would be a cool guy to hang out with. He's an alpha male idol sort of like a George Clooney for dorky men who live in basements. I'd have a beer with him anyways.

That is way cool! I would be so proud to say that I met Bruce Campbell! I feel the same about Army of Darkness. He was the best in Evil Dead 2 imo.
