I declare anarchy, where do I sign up?

  5. fair enough. a little off topic but, i do find humor in soldiers that claim to be 'defending our freedom', while the goverment that employs them are the only ones trying to take my freedoms away. maybe you're looking at the wrong enemy? just a thought.
  6. to be honest, i'm bored to shit with this conversation. it's like arguing with a brick wall. but the brick wall is self righteous and on steroids. wasn't this about Biased Media? isn't there another thread on DADT? where's that mcdonalds to picket....
  7. it's easier to just watch Glenn Beck, than to actually read anything anyways. he's so dreamy.
  8. http://guerrillanews.wordpress.com/2010/09/09/mosque-ado-about-nothing/#more-788 aside from the Inside Job speak, this is a fantastic article that hits all the right notes. and the title is ingenious.
  9. for some strange reason, it never posted my reply. 1. The Changeling. 1980 George C. Scott - one of my favorite ghost movies 2. Devils Backbone - but i'm sure you've seen it. 3. House of Voices - again, being a Pascal Laugier fan, i'm sure you've seen that too. 4. Session 9 - one of my favorite movies. DO IT GORDON 5. Tale of Two Sisters - the original Japanese version. aaaaand......i'm drawing a blank. now i'm curious though and i'll have to look through our collection when i get home.
  10. it's TODAY!! Stop by for a few beers and hang out, talk about tattoos and politics, or just say hi!! Let us know you're from DGN and we'll hook you up with special deals! Thanks for looking!
  11. it's alright eevee, thanks for thinking of us!! you can stop by anytime in the future to talk about your design, see it in person, and hang out!
  12. this could be fantastic, or it could be terrible. either way i'll check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RHZh8tXkks
  13. for what it's worth, Splice was OK. Not fantastic, not earth shattering, but adequate. Certainly not terrible. I think it would have done better if instead of ripping off (or a huge homage, however you feel about that kind of thing) Cronenberg, they just let Cronenberg direct it. THEN, it would have been epic. as it stands, the director did an okay job. the cinematographer was very skilled, and the opening reel was very nicely done, but it kind of fell flat with a lot of static shots and same old same old kind of feel half way through. all in all definately worth checking out, but watch before you buy.
  14. candyman - well said. i understand your point, and while i don't agree with it, i can respect where you are coming from. since when are soldiers not allowed to bring personal gear? a good friend of mine was detroit SWAT, and was allowed to have his own vest shipped over. although now that i think of it, that was at the beginning of the invasion, so a lot may have changed. i've heard plenty of stories of hillbilly armor.
