I just ordered three books that should be here in a day or two; Soul Music by Terry Pratchett and Nostradamus Ate My Hamster by Robert Rankin... ...but the one I will read first is Smashed, Squashed, Splattered, Chewed, Chunked and Spewed by Lance Carbuncle. Promises to be a twisted, sick, disturbing, hillarious ride! I.Can't.Wait!!! Plus, Carbuncle has asked me to email him with my thoughts after I finish reading it. I feel so special... along with all of his other MySpace friends! LOL

Another Warren-ite! Greetings!

So Saturday night we had an early Easter dinner with my brother and his family. After we finished eating, we sat and talked for a bit while letting our food digest, then it was time for dessert. My sister-in-law pulls out a couple of chocolate cakes and is getting ready to cut slices when my 11 year old daughter says, "Wait. We didn't sing yet!" We all looked at her and reminded her it's not a birthday it's just dessert. My 20 year old niece then began singing, to the melody of Happy Birthday to You,... "Happy resurrection, Jesus. Happy resurrection, Jesus...." I thought I was going to fall out of my chair laughing. Perhaps a bit off-color, but funny nonetheless.

I'm dreaming of a white Easter....

*whimper*

And now for something completely different.

Getting ready to collapse for the night, so I can get up and do it all over again, then collapse tomorrow night, then get up and work OT Saturday and collapse when I get home. Hmmm, starting to see a pattern here?

Yeah, have that on my home pc, too. Don't really use it at home, but obviously they are required at work. Stupid smartcard keyboards are always shitting out at work. Hope you have an external reader. They seem to be more reliable. I just finished loading the dinner dishes into the dishwasher and grabbed my daughter's coat out of the dryer. Only a little more to do and I get to go to bed!

Doing laundry, beef stew going on the stove, cleaning the bathroom, etc. Just a day filled with one fun-filled moment after another....

Unwinding before hopefully turning in early.

Just finished cleaning up the kitchen from the dinner dishes (tonight was chicken marsala, green beans, baked potato and salad). Now I can finally sit and chill for a little while.

*HUGZ for BW* Don't worry. Eventually she will get what's coming to her, and with any luck you and the eternal will witness it, or at the very, least learn all of the nasty details.

Another one that blew my mind was Usual Suspects. Like Identity, I didn't see that ending coming. I love good twists and turns in a plot.

Clicked on all three and no errors. Took me to the correct PayPal page for each using IE7.

Troy, you can hug me anytime you want to. You give the best hugs! Always so warm and heartfelt. Same with Msterbeau, Hunhee, Bean Water, eternal and a few others. A good hug can really make my day and I hope I make other folks days a little better when I hug them.

So far I am really enjoying Pratchett's book. What great descriptive phrases. So funny and yet so vivid.
