  1. People with no fuckin' common sense. That just grinds my gears.
  2. Yeah, I know it's been awhile. I've been busy these past nine months what with having surgery on my hands. I had CTS so I had my left hand operated on in Aug. & my right hand done in Oct. My hubby and I also found out last Oct. that we were going to be grandparents. We were NOT happy about that when our daughter told us that she was pregnant. Well, the months went by & she suffered from a few health ailments bad enough to put her in the hospital twice during her pregnancy. Luckily for her and her baby everything turned out okay. Her due date was for June 9th, but she was having contractions a few days shy of her 34th week. On April 26th, I had to take her to the hospital in Reno. Her OB/GYN examined her in the Labor/Triage room & told my daughter and me that she was 4cm and fully efaced. I'm thinking, "Greaaaaat, that's all she needs is go into labor". Suffice to say, they kept her in & hooked her up to an IV with meds to stop her contrations. That didn't help. I had to get home so that I wasn't driving home in the dark. I tend to get tunnelvision sometimes while driving at night. At 3AM the next morning she called me at home to let me know that her water broke. Thank God that she was already at the hosiptal. I told her that me and her dad would be within the hour. She also got ahold of the father of her baby to let him know what was going on. We got to the hospital with a few hours to spare before the baby came so my hubby and me went to Wal-Mart to get a stroller/baby car seat and a few other things too. When we got back to the hospital, she was full blown in hard labor. Everything seemed like a blur because time seemed to fly by. By 8AM it was getting real close. By then she was pushing the baby out. She only pushed about 6 times then the baby was out. She knew she was having a boy so she already had a name picked out. The father of the baby, my hubby and I were all in the delivery room when Jarret Aiden was born. It was soooooo cool watching my grandson being born. Unfortunately, he was born six weeks early so after he was born my daughter couldn't hold him til the next day. My daugther's labor went so fast that they couldn't give her an epidural for the pain, so she had a natural childbirth. He weighed 4 pounds 3 oz & was 17 inches at birth. We got plenty of pix of him right after he was born. He was in the NICU for 5 weeks so that he could gain weight. He looked like he was wired for sound because of all kinds of monitors on him, IVs stuck in him and nothing but a diaper on since he was way too small for clothes yet. They also had a feeding tube down his throat thru his nose because that was the only way he could eat for awhile. A week before he came home he was finally able to take a bottle. He was finally released from the hospital 5 weeks after he was born. He is THEE cutest baby ever. I'm going to see about getting some photos of him on here soon so that y'all can see him. He'll be six weeks old on the ninth which was supposed to be his due date. My hubby and I got over being angry and dissapointed with her but now that the baby is here, us grandparets on both sides of the family are going to spoil the shit out of him.
  3. Ooohhh, you can be my bodyguard anytime Msterbeau. kiss kiss (ya big flirt) I can relate Troy. Renting may be nice, but if the place gets trashed from a party, you don't usually get your cleaning deposit back. At least when you own your place you can get a little crazier when you have a party. Oh wait, I forgot. We're talking about Troy here. I meant to say A LOT CRAZIER when you have a party. My bad. *giggles*
  4. I agree with Spook, except that he's also wrong. So I win, so there.
