  1. Sending Birthday Wishes :)

  2. Hello and Happy Birthday :)

  3. Sending out random hellos. Hello :)

  4. Awesome project. The whole genome synthesized in a machine. (But still implanted into a pre-existing cell with all the various machinery ready).
  5. Well, the good news is that the recent credit reform legislation already addressed this issue. At least for debit cards, but I think for checks too? All these "overdraft" protection programs are now opt-in instead of automatic so you no longer can get a $35 fee to cover your $4 latte that put you over, for example.
  6. Did you read what the study actually was? It's kind of a silly measure. They just added up the number of times a station referred to one of the typical political thinktanks. Considering that the typical news report these days consist of "Important Person said X" and then giving the response from the opposition group's thinktank in order to provide "balance" and that republicans were in charge for 8/10 of the time of the study, I am not impressed. And it doesn't even measure the main sources of bias - omission of stories, the cutting choices of montages and the subtle, snide comments the anchors make about the stories during transitions. Fox is by far the most slanted organization calling itself "news" out there.
  7. Anyone who remembers me going to be there? Wife is out of town and I'm bored at home.
  8. This is the classic, old "we won't yet understand [X]...therefore god!" And it still doesn't work. Just because we don't have an explanation does not mean you can just substitute any unsubstantiated claim in there. (I don't know if the text tone comes off as mean, but it's not intended to be. I enjoy discussions like this!)
  9. ehhhh...I think it's still just another method to create male hormone levels in females. it's interesting that the ovarian cells converted types, but I still doubt you could use this method to convert secondary sex characteristics like genitals
  10. Counter-strike+rum+Combichrist. Also, some plumbing in the house.
