Piracy on the high seas is no laughing matter. Every year, there are hundreds of reported cases of piracy everywhere from South America to Africa to Southeast Asia. Forget about movies like The Pirates of the Caribbean and the works of Errol Flynn, this is the real deal, and today's pirates use today's technology: submachine guns and speedboats, instead of cutlasses and big ships.
