DGN @ CC - August 2nd Aftermath

Blessedly cool in CC last night! Even though it was a pretty slow night and REALLY light on DGNers,l I had alot of fun, and the dancing was awesome.

I rode up with Tszura and Nightgaunt. The first person we ran into was HunHee, parking her car along the same curb. She looked SO cute in that Lip Service dress!

Upon entering, I saw Dark Racer, Constantin and his friend Don, Nienna, StormKnight, and a few others I recognized as regulars. If I forgot anyone, please forgive me, as I was a bit over-excited and distracted (not to mention ever-so-slightly tipsy towards the end).

Fin showed up in his Robert Palmer disguise , and I was the first to spot him (thought you could fool everyone, didn't you? ).

I had the pleasure of meeting some very memorable people. I spoke to a tall blonde gentleman in drag up at the bar, a tall guy with a Native American hairstyle who sang a few Irish ballads with me, and a neat guy named Grimmy who was dressed to the nines and never refuses beer (my sort of peeps!).

We all danced our ASSES off last night!! There were many interesting-looking characters on the dance floor. It was a great night for people-watching!

As usual, the level of service was EXCELLENT. CC has one of the BEST bar staffs in Detroit, as far as I'm concerned. The drinks are good and stiff, and come as quickly as possible. Even the beer tastes stiffer than normal there, for some reason!

I left with HunHee, as NG and Tszura had plans for later on (hehehehe ). I found out we are a lot closer in distance than I was aware of. This could mean great trouble for the rest of the world.

All in all, it was a faboo night out, and hopefully every Saturday at CC will be as much fun!

It was a decent night, DGN-er turnout was minimal, but I figured most people are not wanting to battle the heat, I don't blame them. Luckily for me, I'm always cold, so the heat wasn't too bad for me.

I was sportin' the Josie & the Pussy Cat motif, if I could have found my kitty ears, those would have been worn as well.

It was a great night at CC last night! I had a couple friends with me, and I danced alot...my shoe broke and I had to dance barefoot. Made me glad it was dead, because the floor wasn't so bad...I still scrubbed the hell out of my feet when I got home. lol. My poor stockings.

One of the best weekends I've ever had.. Between the Rancid concert on friday and CC on saturday it was great..

It sucked. The music was terrible other than :wumpscut:, the sisters of mercy, and maybe a pigface song. Though I was told that I was the best dancer there. That made my night.. and if anyone wonders who I was.. I was wearing the zebra print sleveless shirt with the christian death jacket.

I only was there slightly over an hour, showing up just after 3, planning to stay to the end, but a friend was feeling ill-ish so we left about 4:15. Came after an absurdly disappointing X-ball...teach me not to just come to City from the beginning! I was kinda exhausted when I was there, so I actually sat down for a few songs and only danced maybe 40 minutes or so, but still, it was a good time. Glad to see the return of the regular Saturday DJ ( I mean in addition to Jon who is great!). Even though the version of Spin Spin Sugar (that my friend requested) played was less-than-stellar. ^^ A disappointing night in many ways, but none the fault of City, and I had a good time while I was there, even though the only DGNer I saw still there was Tszura - beautiful as usual. Thanks for saying hi to me when I was looking all worn out sitting on the bench!! <3<3

To Sean the boy who actually understood how to go about dancing with me... in the same sphere of the dance floor but not grinding against me like we were practicing some type of horizontal sexual act(besides the curious explorations in the front seat of your car with the sky all bright and blue where anyone could see us was way sexier).

You danced like a demon possessed clearing out portions of the floor with your arms spread wide as if you were calling down some type of God and daring him to tangle with you in those moments.

Do you remember when that guy pulled me away to dance with him and I found you again and told you that no matter where or who I danced with EVERY time I moved it was for you? I meant it.

Thank you for standing with me towards the end of the night and creating an energy that made any would be unwanted attention from the people who had formed some type of warped fan club for the "Rarely ever seen species of a tall black goth girl with legs to the sky who can actaully dance"... almost disappear....

I'm sure the 6'4 mostly shave headed paler then death white boy with feathers in his hair standing over a sweating 6'1 and a half barely covered black girl with skin darker then hell created a vibe that was hard to fuck with.

I was happy when we concluded that we MUST have met each other at Convergence 12 in New Orleans. I was happy when you told me that you were a well travelled musician. I was even happier when I was figuring out how far I could fit you down my throat in the middle of the morning while listening to your music...

Yup that was way better then the Milk Shake that I had after City Club closed.

(I think that lady forgot to put my malt powder in anyhow)...

I liked that you respected my request to go home even as I said it while your tongue was exploring my piercings...

And I like that we are both recovering addicts from the WOW addiction.

(Though I will admitt your human lvl 63 Paladin tank would have been a great char to help develope my abandoned human lvl 33 warlock)

But thank God we both decided to opt for the real world... Or perhaps I would have never met you in New Orleans... Or in Detroit while I visited for my family reunion...

Sean you were badass... and sorry that at 8 am in the monring I couldn't comprehend why you were telling me that we couldn't get together if I had an early flight because you worked from 4-8... It didn't occur to me until after I lay in bed that you meant 4pm-8am...

If you actually call me after you get off of work I keep debating rescheduling my flight.. I mean I don't really need to go to my company picnic...
