  2. Good job, gentlemen! So many good tracks were played on Saturday.
  3. GREAT song by Solitary Experiments! I am going to dig that album out for listening on the way to work tomorrow. I've been giving my SolEx preference to the newest album and single. By the way, they are about to release Compendium vol. 2...
  4. Yandex is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, Russian search engines. Since this board is not in the Russian language, nor does it really cater to anyone there or in the former Soviet sphere of influence, I think it's safe to say that you could disallow hits from that one without affecting your overall rankings and traffic too much.
  5. Oh my goth! *rimshot* I'm very much looking forward to getting back in front of all of you with the rest of the D:Konstruct guys and doing what we do best... singing and dancing and playing for you!
  6. Well, at least the wax came off the paper without taking any of the writing with it. That would have been great, trying to figure out what you played for about 45 minutes there

  8. I can't wait until tomorrow night. It's always fun playing tunes for you guys...
  9. ... along with DJ Aaron Hingst. Seriously, between both rooms, you get live music and several DJs. There is NO excuse not to have fun and dance the night away, folks! :D
  10. Yeah, this was pretty cool. More people would have been nice, but the quality of the company was more important than the quantity. The only thing that was amiss was that the birthday girl was still standing perfectly straight at the end of the night
  11. New Concept - Wheel of Love I need this CD again! I lost the original years ago and only have my MP3 rip anymore. Very good melodies and vocals on this one (even if the English is a bit... hmm... abstract). Expect a PM, sir.
  12. That's why you drink a lot, so you won't feel it as much Oh and yes, I'll be there tonight. Awesomeness sounds like it is afoot.
  13. I usually give the standard disclaimer that I enjoy what I do, even if it is "oontz" and "easy to do." However, what I do changes every so often. It must; otherwise I would get bored and not want to do music anymore, and it is nearly a necessity in my life. Having said that, I see quite often that there are those who are simply stuck in the past. 1985 was a good year for music and all, but please do try to move it along a bit. Fresh meat occasionally does catch on and those in the know have noticed. Even if it doesn't, the specter and supposed allure of pop music should not be the sole thing driving anyone to create. Artists should accept new influences, and walking the line between the expected and the experimental can yield exciting new results.
  14. I find it funny that when an event goes off without a hitch, it's hardly talked about within the confines of this place; but when there are many different issues, people start screaming to the heavens about it and simply will not stop. Amazing, simply amazing. Yes, there were issues with the event and they have been discussed ad nauseum on this thread. It is what it is, it happened, and those involved can learn several lessons from it all. At least I had a good DJ set at the festival itself, and that set at the afterparty with Kat did the business as well. Also, seeing several friends while out and about is always a plus. Here's to many more events in the future with more cohesion and organization. It only gets better from here. Take notice.
  15. I'll have you know that my legs felt like jelly at the end of that night
  16. Whoa, TJ is going. Awesome! I'll be there with that sexy beast of a man, Rob from D:Konstruct. Definitely looking forward to some good tunes.
  17. A cooler with... ice? Thanks for looking out for us! Also, thanks to Marc for posting the schedule and advertising this event. This week at work has been insane and I am just now finding time to read this. It will be a fun day though, for sure!
  18. I had a lot of fun DJing with Mike and Justin last night! That set just happened; I started off EBM and let my own mental wanderings carry it out from there. Glad you guys enjoyed it! And I actually got a couple more people wondering about that Ikon track, and a few others doing the same for Diary of Dreams... I'm gonna' bring them both back to playlists in this town one way or another :D
  19. Thanks for the good comments, everyone. I much prefer playing retro and Goth-friendly stuff... and I like Lacuna Coil and some SWR, so there It was quite heartening to see people dancing to Ikon, too. That title track off "Love Hate and Sorrow" is a hammer! Nocker and Scary Guy did the business as well. A+: would do it again.
  20. The one time I DJed at City Club, I played that Diary of Dreams track and from what I could tell, it did OK. But that was at 3 AM I would love to hear it more often. Either that or "O'Brother Sleep", or "The Curse", or "Chemicals", or "She", or "AmOK", or *name about 30 other DOD tracks here*
  21. I am looking forward to Saturday! I've never actually DJed alongside Nocker, but I have worked with Scary Guy in the past at Mephisto's. We've already decided it will be kind of like those days again...
  22. Shiv-R is pretty cool, indeed! Maybe I'll get someone to play me "Blood Spatter" or "Open My Vein" next :D
