Yeah, it's funny cause I tried to get into the most recent BlutEngel and just couldn't...but I do really like that track I played, but I only like the version with the female vox, not the original at all, lol. Thanks for the recommendation on Clear Vision. I'll check it out!! I agree about the Brendan Perry too - I'm *so* sad there's no Detroit tour date for him. Blarg.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a roommate (male or female, straight, gay, whatever) to share 2 bedroom first floor flat with me and my very friendly dog (must be pet free though, only one pet is allowed). The focus of Black Planet (despite the name, lol) is newer/current bands. I'll throw in classics here and there, but we have the old school thing covered pretty well already.

Currently I do Vicious Pink (old school alternative) on Thursdays and try to mix in the occasional 45 Grave, Danse Society, Sex Gang Children, Christian Death (of course) and roots/related/Batcave type bands like Birthday Party, Alien Sex Fiend, Xmal, Bauhaus and Specimen.

Definitely more than just Christian Death - for sure some Cinema Strange, Danse Society, Bloody Dead and Sexy, 45 Grave, Kommunity FK, etc.

And Frank the Baptist! Lol, which is on my iPod as I type. Doh!

Back then I called it "Vicious Pink" and the format was old new wave and dark retro classics - everything from Gary Numan, Visage, Sisters, Ministry, Smiths, Front 242, Flock of Seagulls, Ultravox, etc.

Vicious Pink Thursdays are coming back - online! I'll be hosting a 1 hour show every Thursday at 10pm online at www.strangewaysradio.com!
