I never thought of my self as a Goth then; back in the 80's when I wore black most of the time (I now know I was just a Dead boy still dieing; like most people on the run from them selfs?). But I was in to the music that most peopl called goth; Bauhaus, Ministry, joy division, sex pistals and tons of other stuff.

The comic book the Crow by James O'Barr which led to the movie the Crow that sadly took the life of Brandon Lee was actually based off of my life between the years of 1982 to 1988. The claims O'Barr makes that he started this comic book back in 1981 are untrue and unsubstantiated. He has no physical evidence to prove that he started the comic book back in 1981 as he claims; testing of the paper and or ink of these drawings he claims he did between 1981 and 88 will prove my case. "I have not been able to track down any of these drawings or anyone that possesses any of these drawings that he claims he started back in 1981. I am more than willing to take multiple polygraph tests will prove my case and I wholeheartedly invite James O'Barr to do the same." The comic book was actually started on Halloween night 1988 after our initial meeting at city club; I believe his wife from back then would be able to help prove this. I had a falling out with James O'Barr after I refused to let him do a factual comic book on me, about a vigilante that only came out on Halloween. I carried no weapons other than my hands and my wits; I would accost and reprimand individuals that shared the same mentality as the individual who murdered my girlfriend "Tammie Lynn Grimes" back on January 11, 1982. The comic was supposed to have been dedicated to her as payment for the use of my idea, image and some of the information I shared with him about my life. I can point these things out in the comic book and according to Gary Reed the founder of Caliber Comics that first published the Crow; James O'Barr is a habitual liar. I have e-mail communications with Mr. Reed that will back up this claim. For the last two years I have been attempting to do my own PI work with the help of my assistant Ashley Ann Desrochers, but I now believe that I am emotionally too close to the story to do it justice on my own. I have also been trying to track down old friends who might still have images of me as I appear in the comic book before it was released between the years of 1982 and 1988, plus affidavits that I had planned on entering into the comic book as additional support of the truth. I would like to get in contact with anybody that went to city club on Halloween night or attended one of the Halloween parties between the years of 1985 and 1988. Some of my old acquaintances at city club back then were: Liz, DJ Tom, the doorman and some of the bouncers, two homeboys they used to come to city club regularly on a Friday nights (they would dress the same both of them wearing matching suits, hats and black patent shoes. One of them was quite taller than the other and they both frequented Pri-Madonnas regularly.) Plus everyone else I have forgotten. "One of my symptoms from having Gulf War syndrome affects my memory."

I am also a Gulf War veteran from the 1991 Gulf War while serving my country I was exposed to sarin gas, overdosed with the anthrax vaccine and given two pills of an unknown origin while serving on board the USS Midway CV-41. I am very sick and I don't know how much longer I will be with you. I would like to get my story out there before I die. Tammie deserved better and she deserves to be remembered. It was her murder that led me to create the Raven a.k.a. Erik Draven/Da'Raven. I would really appreciate it if some of you members could help me track down some of these old city club patrons.
