I suppose it's about time I posted something here. I am Cowboy Dave, I have been creeping around the industrial /goth scene for more years than I would like to count. I have been a DJ off and on since late 1991 and I have been bumming around city club since I got out of the Navy in 1995. I have been a member here on DGN since 2001 (despite what the profile says - when DGN switched servers the date was refreshed and some 500 posts were lost). I am a lurker. I like to keep tabs on what's going on in the forums but I rarely post anything myself unless I have something specific to say...

I am in the Army National Guard and although I am getting ready to retire, - yeah, I know I am little young to be retiring from anything - it looks like I will be making one more deployment to Afghanistan, in the Spring of 2010, before I do. I am a photographer and go by Cowboy Dave Photography. Not surprisingly, I tend to do a lot of fetish photography - go figure - as well as event photography and anything else I can point a camera at.

Generally - despite looks, I am quite friendly and always up for a good conversation, though I am not one to approach other people and so have somewhat of a unsocial kind of reputation, but if people approach me, I have no problem saying HI. I can be found at city club dancing in the dead center of the dance floor (the exact same spot for some 15 years now). I tend to dance a little violently and while I am dancing I tend to be a little oblivious of those around me - a dangerous situation if you get too close. Many people quite safely come up and say HI while I am dancing, bur make sure I see you first and don't expect much conversation until I am done (likely a couple of hours later!!).

I guess if there is anything else you would like to know, by all means feel free to randomly say hi and ask away!!
