Okay, fair comment. I just didn't expect the level of sarcasm and criticism. I keep forgetting that these seem to be the trade marks of modern conversation. People banter back and forth with sarcastic comments and not creative or insightful replies. I'm beginning to see why Detroit Gothic is only frequented by a small close knit group of Gothics. π¦

I had a real heavy smoking habit. Some would say I chained smoked when stressed. The only way I as able to stop was to change my habit. I made a list of the things I would do when smoking and changed things around to break the association. Coffee to Tea Wine & Spirits to Beer Fatty Foods to Salads Over time I lost the impulse to smoke and was able to change back to the things I like. Oddly I still have dreams where I'm smoking. So the feeling is really deeply ingrained. π¦

Trappernicus replied to Mari Augdahl Bes Bes's topic in Fashion, Beauty and Costume.
Animal rights is an are of some concern. Yet I'm not sure where a line may be drawn. Most of our clothing has been derived from animals. We need leather for shoes. True to say synthetic materials can be used, but they involve a range of chemicals that are harmful to the environment. Than there are many other forms of clothing that we get from a range of both domestic and wild animals. The alternatives are also man made but involve chemicals that damage the environment. Perhaps we need to find a middle ground position? π¦ -
