Bonfire @ My Place - Friday July 10th - BYOB 1555 Goddard Rd, Lincoln Park, 48146. You can google map it and even get a satellite view of my house. I am between Dix Rd and Fort St. There is a creek about 2 blocks away, can be seen on the map that we can check out. It has a huge weeping willow tree. A great spot for picks if anyone wishes to bring a camera. If interested, leave me a message and I will PM you my phone number if you have any questions. As a friendly notice, we have cats here and a dog, the dog is cool and he'll be inside. Just letting you know in case someone has allergies. Since I cannot attend the camping trip and I am sure there are others who can't make it there, I am going to have a bonfire here on Friday night, the 10th. Anyone who wishes to have something to do that night is more than welcome to come here. I have a decent amount of firewood and would like to have people come by and hang out. I have a small stereo in the garage that can play CD's so bringing music is cool. Sorry but it will be BYOB as I am on unemployment so my funds are limited. I have 6 chairs so you may want to bring one of your own. Start time is open, the sun won't set till after 9 but if wanted, I can get the charcoal grill going if someone wants to bring something to cook for themselves. I have 2 or 3 camp forks for roasting marshmellows with.

That's why I posted it as a Friday Night Bonfire as to avoid any conflict with city club. Besides, I might be able to wrangle a ride sometime so I can go to CC to see everyone. While I'm not going to set it up as a weekly thing, I am open to people contacting me to see if a certain friday would be good and then setting up a get together. Time will tell if this can work. I hope it can.

Not this may help but I use Virgin Mobile. It's a pay as you go, no contract phone that uses the Sprint PCS network. The only problem with Virgin is that they are not renting all of Sprints towers so some areas of Michigan you have no reception. My advice is also to check out each companies coverage area. From there check plans. Not knowing how many minutes you want besides unlimited nights and weekends don't want to post a plan you can't use.

Wondering where these small black spiders with the white stripe in the back are coming from. Found a second one today. never seen one like it before. Doesn't help I'm arachnaphobic.

Shame you don't live closer, I'd loan the serger to you. Have to make sure it works since as part of my old job was to clean out storage units after people left and throw the junk they left away and I found the serger.

I found a few cars on autotrader that I want. in the search parameters, you can select, brand, style, price and distance to you. There are a lot of people selling their cars on there, it's not just dealers.

Don't know if you have resolved this or not but you can try www.autotrader.com You can find all kinds of used cars being sold both by dealer and private seller and you can select how far from your zip code you want it to search.

Does your sewing machine have 2 tension adjustments?? Mine does. One for the thread on the spool and one for the bobbin. Also look for any loose thread that may have wrapped around anything. I've had that happen to me before. I've had to get in and do that now and then with the OLD sewing machine I have. It's a pain at times but sometimes you have to check. Wish I could sew, I have 2 machines, one is a serger type and need a coat sewn from a pattern. Once I figure out how to enlarge the pattern.

A friend of mine is making steampunk goggles with plans to sell them. And a bunch of my friends are doing steampunk costumes to wear to conventions.

These kinds of films are mind candy. Sorry but I'm not into artsy films that go nowhere. Glad to be one of the lowest common denominators. Personally I go to a movie to be entertained. Yeah that could be considered junkfood for the brain but so what. Our brains need a break, escapism into a movie is one way. If I want something I watch to teach me something, I'll watch A&E, TLC or Discovery channel. Give me mindless SciFi anytime.

I don't have anything going on this weekend. Thinking about making use of the firepit. If anyone else has no plans and would like to drop by, that would be cool.

I have 2 black males, 7 months old looking for a home. Also have a couple of 8 week old kittens.

No crush here. Unrequited crushes suck.

I finally got my tattoo last summer. It means war dragon in Chinese. Wish I had gotten it a little bigger. Going to get a Yin Yang under it soon and the guy who did it says that this size is good because there is room to put a chinese dragon on each side. Want to get either a gothic cross or gothic dragon on my other arm. Want to get a pentacle but not sure where I want to put it yet.

If anyone will be going from the downriver area and has room for a passenger, I'd like to go.
