Annoyed. Really? I wake up an hour and a half before my alarm and can't get back to sleep? Oh well, half an hour left now before I have to get the kids up and off to school.

What's the last movie you saw?

The Hunger Games at a midnight showing last night. It was awesome. And sold out. =) -
~ What piercings do you currently have? 4 in my ears, nostril piercing and tongue piercing. ~ What piercings do you no longer have? Why? I have all of mine. ~ Are there any that you plan to get in the future? And why haven't you gone out to do that yet? I'm not sure. ~ Are there any piercings that intrigue you but feel you cannot have done (impossible, not if you want to keep your job, or just bloody unlikely)? I'm not sure. ~ What are the inspirations behind the piercings we have, choose to get, or yearn for with all our soppy hearts? My ears were all done young. My daughters had their second set's by the time they were 8 years old. My nostril, a friend of mine and I woke up one day and said "We're going to do this." We did and I kept mine, she didn't. My tongue, I just did one day. ~ Are there any epic stories of note involving the process or aftermath of a piercing that you would like to share with the other children? My nose hurt BAD, I almost cried and had made my friend go first ... my tongue, I couldn't even feel. Phee was freaking out standing across the room (2005) and I was sitting there calm as could be. It really wasn't too swollen or sore afterwards either. ~ What fashion of jewelry do you commonly use in said holes? Are there any particular favourites? Nothing special in my ears. Usually studs in my nose and simple colour and pattern balls for the steel rods in my tongue.

I feel VERY productive ... and like I saved us a ton of money this week by fixing the broken disposal and dishwasher myself and finding way better rates on our car insurance by switching back to our previous company.

Like I have a Pigeon Dog (my rescued Chihuahua and Chihuahua #3) on my shoulder. He's so sweet. I had to abruptly leave for Georgia last week and he missed me so much.

What games are you playing?

MarioKart for the 3DS. LA Noire on the PS3. Forza 4 on the 360. -
I am more than qualified for this job. They wanted me and told me to go take the typing test required to interview me but I broke my wrist a couple days before and couldn't type. Typing is getting easier and thankfully Siri has helped me immensely. I've got a couple more weeks to work on it before I go take the test. I could pass without a doubt of my wrist wasn't broken ... If I can get this job, we could kiss our financial issues goodbye. Starting pay is REALLY good! Only downside is it's midnights to start. I'm still in school until April. So I will have to live off Amp and depend on friends and family until I am done with school to watch my kids for a bit so I can sleep a little. It's only temporary. I CAN do this.

He is so awesome! My 9 year old son has a thing for him too. We went to see Cars 2 in the theatre and there was a trailer for "A Dolphin Tale" ... he taps me on the shoulder and whispers to me, "Mom, isn't that Morgan Freeman?" I replied "Yes it is." He got a HUGE grin on his face and said "Now I HAVE to see that!" ... This is the same son who has his own awesome sense of style, at 9, is the only Junior Roller Derby Referee in his sister's league ... and when you ask how you make music, he will look at you and say "With two turntables and a microphone!". -
Thanks Critter. It took them 20 years, but they have figured out what is causing the bulk of my issues. Lupus, with an underlying heart condition and Rheumatoid Arthritis. They FINALLY put me on meds in August and I'm doing much better. There are still some things they need to figure out, but for the most part, the Lupus meds are addressing a huge portion of my issues. It is a wonderful feeling. I still have some days that are worse than others, but my ratio of good to bad has shifted dramatically. Glad to hear you're headed in the right direction too. Proper treatment makes a WORLD of difference for a lot of us with all sorts of different issues.

I am NOT sick!!! With classes winding down next week, that is an EXCELLENT thing. All my final projects are turned in. I just have finals to take, then that's it for this semester. One more ... then I am DONE. My health is pretty good, which is GREAT for me. With all my disorders and diseases, that is WONDERFUL. My meds are working and nothing is showing any immediate concerns. For the first itme in about 20 YEARS ... I FEEL okay.

Actually, I watched Lean on Me, with my kids. I *heart* Morgan Freeman. Seriously. He's ALMOST as cool as Samuel L. Jackson, in my book. -
Pain. Yuck. At least I am productive in my insomnia. All my final papers are done for this semester.

I need some peppermint.

Luckily, the six on my back are covered up most of the time and easily. My other two are the Japanese Kanji for "rain" on my inner right wrist and a radiation symbol on my inner left wrist. Not as easily covered, but I haven't had any issues with any prospective employers. I'm in the Criminal Justice (law) field and have met with three county's agencies around the area so far and no one has been opposed to my tattoos ... and I asked. They did say anymore visiable would probably start to count against me

Apple's invisible wall, used with GPS to detect when you arrive and leave a location so Siri can remind you of things when you get there or leave as you have asked. Since Siri is still beta, it's not working all too well yet.

I REALLY wish my hands didn't burn and bleed when I did dishes. It's annoying, it hurts and it sets my progress on my treatment back to day one.
-
My ear hurts ... and I don't know why ... and Siri forgot to remind me to get dog food when I left the kids school ... I have to figure out that geofence thing ...

When did AJ start snoring? (As he fell asleep in my big comfy chair in my bedroom while we both did homework)

I love my car. It is my home away from home, with nearly 108,000 miles I'm usually driving it more than I am at home in a given week. It's full of stuff, but it's organized and clean.

At least I am not sick anymore. And hopefully my youngest gets his cast off on Friday. It's bugging me about as much as it is bugging him. Lol. He's been a trooper though. Made it nearly 13 years without one of my kids breaking a bone, and it had to be my youngest. I can't sleep and have no one to talk to, so I'm going to go back to reading for my Art History class and maybe work on that essay. Maybe read some for my Consitutional Law class ...

I never remember my dreams, so when I do it's odd. Somehow I ended up with my Dad's truck (a large extended cab Chevy Silverado 4x4). Somehow I drove it into school and into a classroom. So I went to get it from the classroom and the instructor said I couldn't get it until her class was over in an hour. So I left and came back. When I got back, the truck was gone. The instructor had moved the truck. Which I had the key ... Anyway, I went searching all over for this truck and thought I found it once but it was blue (dads is black). I was about to check the vin number to see if the instructor painted it when she hid it and an air raid siren woke me up (my daughters ringer on my phone). It was funny, I walked in my parents house today, parked behind my dads truck and said to him: "I see you found your truck." then had to explain to him my dream while he was laughing through the whole thing. Lol.
