Sometimes I am amazed at how much I have emotionally matured over the past four years. Don’t get me wrong, I still have my moments when I’m petty and there are times when I want to be petty, but I don’t because I realize some people love that attention. But I think I’ve reached the point in my life where I truly just do not give a fuck about certain things anymore, and I definitely handle things differently.

It’s been a rough couple of days. I found out my aunt has long cancer that is very aggressive and has already spread to her liver and heart. She doesn’t have much time left. Chemo will be palliative at this point. It just makes me start thinking about my own mortality.

I have been listening to a lot of audiobooks lately. The last one I listened to was “Lessons in Chemistry”. Now I’m working the “The heaven and hell grocery story”.
