Road rage when it's your fault! That's classic. You hit the nail on the head about the money thing. I mean money buys my happiness..my prozac has a copay. 'my prozac has a copay' hehe are you actually on prozac? The research on it is pretty dismal. The more modern SSRIs / Mood Stabilizers have better success rates. (Although everyone is different of course). ....Wait.. omg you actually watched my video yayyyyy
kat (1)
Lol. I actually am on Prozac. I was put on it for hormonal related mood and depression. I have imbalances basically an estrogen dominance. Not to be tmi but I don't have enough progesterone which causes mood imbalances and in addition weight problems, inability to process sugar, PCOS, a wide array of endocrine issues. ..issues with producing my own thyroid t3 hormones since I was little the doctor at the nuclear medical center brought med students in to see my torn up thyroid when I was 19 after I had to swallow a radiation pill to get a proper diagnosis...ironically these all relate to my sleep disorder. The sleep specialist asked me if I had behavioral problems when I was a kid and I realized that they all started at the same time that my sleep paralysis did. She said that was a symptom in childhood onset. Edited November 6, 2016 by kat

Paxil did seem to help (slightly) with the social phobia but the depression was worse so bleh. I'm on zoloft right now, which I'm not really seeing any difference one way or another except maybe the depression is worse, but I'm guessing that's more environmental than medication. I agree about the scheduled medications when you say that most don't seem to do much or they stop working too fast. I guess that's why people seem like they have been on everything. I also feel like I have become more resistant to medications. The celexa I was on prior to that event completely stopped and I was crying and having bad emotional outbursts after the first month. I also tried zoloft, that gave me seretonin syndrome I believe. (I had something) I tried the wellbutrin to attempt to kill two birds with one stone...depression and my cigarette habbit it didn't work for neither of them. I feel like the medical community is finally starting to put the connection between the mind and body holistically now at least to some degree. It's a start in the right direction and ultimately I feel like the more the pdocs work in collaboration with medical docs, maybe when we treat the mental health and brain disorders like "real" medical problems and manifestations or symptoms of physical ailments in a lot of cases, than perhaps society will be more understanding and accepting and ultimately decrease the stigma surrounding mental health issues. Hopefully.
