What genre(s) would this song fit under?

Well first off "game soundtracks" is a valid option.  Failing that though "cyberpunk" could fit as well (although that's about as descriptive as the gothic or electronica genres are.)

It almost has a dubstep feel in parts.  Could go under modern industrial as well.

I'm reminded of this track a little bit (from a Russian cyberpunk music collection comp I found):

You can download the comp for free (legally as it was released for free) here: https://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4141457

Cool.  Well I was wondering if anyone had any "subgenres" or "microgenres", or essentially niche musical genres that they would place it under.  Obviously, "Noise" being a given.  For instance I've heard some people call chillwave a "subgenre" or "microgenre".

See I don't think we need to classify things that far into special snowflake genres.  You can hyphenate things just fine (example, NIN=Techno-Industrial.)

I organize my music by genre first and then have subdirectories for the artists under that.  This can be hard when they change styles or have different songs fitting different genres (or songs that fit into more than one genre).  However you can group certain things together and it makes it easier. Like American Coldwave and Industrial.

Or maybe we just need Ishkur to update his guide.  http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/ (warning, needs Flash)
