Tuesday October 4th, welcome DJ Aaron Hingst and DJ Nemesis (Cleveland, OH) to the decks! We're also hosting a cd release party for the new Uberbyte album "NFY" and will have copies on hand to give away :) See you Tuesday night!

DJ Nemesis and I are already plotting some extra Tuesday night fun and surprises for you guys! We are ridiculously excited for tomorrow night! She'll also have her Spookygrrrl Bath & Body Line available for sale! I know a few City Clubbers picked a couple of things up on Friday (myself included! skull and cross bone shaped soaps?!? YES!) and the lovely Nemesis wanted to give everyone one last chance to check out the products she offers :)

Very VERY much looking forward to tomorrow night. Come see what all the fuss is about ;)

New music on deck from DarkDriveClinic (feat producer John Fryer [Nine Inch Nails, This Mortal Coil, Cocteau Twins] and vocalist Rebecca Coseboom [stripmall Architecture, Halou], more new tracks from Download, the new release from MELT (feat Sebastian Komor of Komor Kommando and Icon of Coil) and some stuff that's SO top secret and unreleased, we're not even going to post about it publicly. We're nothing if not surprising ;) Of course, the usual blend of retro alt/industrial goodness will be served up right along side of the pretty, new shinies- including a couple of recently-discovered/remembered remixes of B-Sides that got us all amped up.

Also: Giveaways! :

-Tonight we have copies of Uberbyte's release "NFY"! This release was limited to only 100 physical copies, and we're pretty thrilled to be able to offer you a few of them to you guys!

-Our close friends at Tympanik Audio have also sent us a selection of releases from their roster of artists to add the the giveaway madness!

-Finally, local artist Hello Machine has generously thrown in copies of their latest EP to be distributed to a few of the lucky attendees tonight!

DJ Nemesis (Cleveland, OH) will also be throwing down a couple of guest sets, as well as vending her SpookyGrrrl Bath and Body Line! Super cute, super spooky, super-affordable soaps, candles, body sprays, scrubs, etc.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Northern Lights tonight! The party starts at 10pm sharp. As always, No Cover and $2 Drinks all night long!

Yayyyyyy! Nemesis and I just walked in from an AWESOME night at Northern Lights :) Congrats to those who did guess correctly on the super-secret mystery track we mentioned earlier! Yes, it was Skinny Puppy! :happydance Thanks for the complients on the new MELT and Download tracks as well!

Nemesis also wishes to thank everyone who stopped by her booth and purchased bath and body goodies! I think that pretty much everyone who came out tonight picked up a couple of her handmade treats. You guys are amazing! :) The brain and bat soaps seemed to be ESPECIALLY popular, as did the limited-edition items she created for our friend Matt and his project Caustic!

We look forward to seeing everyone next week at Northern Lights! No attitude, no elitism, just great music, videos and tons of great people coming together every Tuesday night for a good time! Thanks again, everyone! :)

(Ps. we had a late night snacky-treat in the form of a Chicken Shawarma Wrap from Bucharest Grill, right next to our good friends at the Park Bar. If you have yet to experience this culinary delight, we encourage you to do so ASAP! Pro-tip: Light Garlic and No Mayo seems to be the winning way to order!)

Tonight! Noire Sky happens at Northern Lights Lounge! We're very excited to welcome DJ Einsamkeit to the decks, and our friends from Kung Pao Kitty in Los Angeles will be spending one more night out with us before the head back home tomorrow morning! We've also got a boatload of new releases to get through tonight! Going to be a fun night :)

As always, No Cover and $2 Drinks all night long!

Tonight! DJ Nemsis has popped back into Detroit for a couple of days, and she's graciously agreed to be our guest DJ for tonight, as well as vend her Spookygrrrl Bath and Body line once again! Her soaps, lotions and scrubs were a HUGE hit last time around, and she's got tons of new goodies with her PLUS some photography prints that she'll have for sale as well :)

It's also the annual Northern Lights Lounge pumpkin carving contest! SpoOoOoOky fun!

As always, No Cover and $2 Drinks all night long! Hope to see you there :)

Congrats to the 3 winners of our pumpkin carving contest (Including City Club's own doorgirl, Raquel!) and thanks once again to DJ Nemesis for throwing down some amazing sets!

Hope everyone is having a great Halloween so far!

Join us tomorrow night at Northern Lights for our Day of the Dead Party! Special guest DJ Void6 will be joining us on the decks, and our friends at VampireFreaks.com and Tympanik Audio have sent along some goodies to pass out to anyone who arrives in Zombie and/or Sugar Skull attire! Very very cool and we thank them for continuing to support our night :)

Another fantastic evening at Northern Lights! It's a good feeling to see the crowd growing every week, and when you can look around and say "Man, it's getting pretty busy in here!" and it's not even 11pm--that's even cooler. Thank you guys so much for supporting what we do. Without you, we're nothing ;) Also!: Thanks to our guest dj, Aaron Hingst, for adding his own musical hijinx to the mix.
