  2. This chick is just such a badass, sweet vid too. If you dig biker vibe tunes and guitar crunchathons (stoner rock/metal for those familiar), take a listen.
  3. I'm quite happily taken. but meeting people aside from that awesome dude I love and the three or four friends I really connect with would be sweet.
  4. You're welcome, dude! I'm a total noob though and not all that helpful. Just hopin to find some new concert buddies more than anything, and maybe some other chicks who can appreciate a nice sense of fashion I just gotta say that I realize more and more how hard it is to find new friends. I moved a lot growing up, 3 different elementary schools and 4 different high schools, so what little good friends I have are within the past few years. Even they don't have all that much in common with me. And now at age 24 I feel like a total creeper asking for girls' numbers. Why is it so weird if I think someone's cool and wanna hang out some time? Some things my boyfriend just can't be talked with about. I just want a same sex pal who knows when I make a gothy literature/movie/music reference. Anyways, hoping I haven't scared people away. You all seem pretty tight, as people and with eachother. /rant
  5. Got my lastfm chart working in my sig Because I have no qualms about admitting I'm the kind of asshole who wants everyone to know what I'm listening to haha.
  6. I'm thinking what a disappointment Judas Priest's new album was :( And that my ass should be in bed for my first of many 12 hour work days tomorrow morn...
  7. Cowboy Rockabilly? Imagine if The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly had a slight campy horror soundtrack. Excellent!
  8. Awww man, I thought this was a quiz :( I'm a dark denim wearing 70's goth who listens to a lot of psychadelic stuff and reads too much murder porn. When I dress up.... it's all bout them big black flat boots and corsets with tight jeans. Biker goth, maybe, sans the bike.
  9. I got Ozzy too, which I am happy with. But, and not to get too deep here... I vastly prefer Black Sabbath to his solo stuff and am kinda surprised they went with that.
  10. Applying for every office job I'm possibly qualified for. I work part time as a janitor and full time packaging foam right now, and while it's cool I can keep my hair whatever color I want and leave the piercings in, I'd rather be doing something more... 'fancy'. I'd take just about any office job paying at least 10 an hour, but honestly I miss working in a call center. I miss looking nice every day, and I'm actually really awesome at calming down pissed off people. It always really annoyed me when coworkers would get intimidated by angry callers and promise them things that were never gonna happen just to get them off the phone. It was downright shitty, because it exacerbated the caller's problems, which sucks, and made them call again later even angrier, which really sucks for everyone.
  11. Diabolically scientific! Morgan Freeman and metal Satanist King Diamond.
  12. I bet your enemies taste delicious paired with a nice liver pate.
  13. Since this is indeed a 'goth' site.... maybe a few of you can appreciate this
  14. I get the impression that you're more interested in the supernatural side of horror than the serial killer side, but if you're open to it, the Poughkeepsie Tapes have that gritty recorded view you seem to be into right now. Pretty disturbing stuff! 'August Underground Mordum' is similar, the whole found footage thing. Practically no plot, just pure gritty visceral fucked up-ness. But if that's what you're in the mood for, permanent trauma, it's a good watch haha.
  15. I hear ya on the working nights... my problem is that I was a student during normal business hours, then cleaning as a janitor 6 to 10 as soon as my friends got out of work! Trying to find a cushy office job now. I actually miss call centers.
  16. Salami, swiss cheese, sweet pickles and mayo on whole wheat bread, slightly toasted. I love sammiches.
  17. The only 'country' band I ever found myself loving. I officially appreciate at least one band from every music genre! Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-vpAn15-vE
  18. I couldn't tell ya, haven't used those sites before. But basically last.fm 'scrobbling' auto-updates your profile, and listening queue with whatever mysic you're listening to at the time, with whatever listening service you're using. I use Rhapsody on my android and it updates as I listen at work. With your library and queue, lastfm becomes knowledgeable enough to give you fantastic recommendations daily. You can also decorate your profile with dynamic badges of your taste! For instance, mine has a genre badge showing my primary music preference on biggest letters, and all others progressively smaller, auto-updated every Friday based on my listening habits. It's a really cool site for music socializing, personally its my new facebook. And you should be able to 'scrobble' from those other sites you mentioned without a problem.
  19. I finally found a scrobbler that works with my android a few months back and I am just alllll about that site right now. Add me if you want! Love talkin music and could always use more concert buddies http://www.last.fm/user/carpe-mortem Also using this thread as a general 'most listened to artist of the week', post yours! Jim Breuer's stand up comedy for me. His story 'Enter the Wizard' is just too goddamn genius hilarious with the distorted guitar and synth work.
  20. I'm definitely a fan, enough of a fan that I will likely try go go to this. Favorite album is definitely same as yours. I mean shit.... Cry of the Blackbirds, dude! Fuckin Cry of the Blackbirds! Their other albums have some cool tracks too but really that's the only one I keep in my music collection.
  21. I've always wanted to go, haven't quite gotten around to it though. Plus I deleted my facebook because it made me feel cool and that kinda puts a damper on event notifications. Now that I'm a member here hopefully you folks can keep me updated!
