living the dream here in 'smoke free' California, I lurk around from time to time to see what's up!

We've had the ban here in California for ages now (well BEFORE Obama). Like anything you get used to it. One reason I hate coming back to Detroit and going to bars and clubs is smelling like smoke when i come home. You can gather in smoking 'petting zoos' outside. My husband said he met more people outside smoking than he ever did inside the club, so there is an upside!

I guess someone who lets me be me, who also teaches me things and likes being taught. Someone who is always willing to grow and grow old with. Someone who can laugh and not take anything too seriously. Creativity is a big plus. No substance addictions. Is able to take care of himself. Manners rule along with the fact that they respect their mother. Luckily I've found the perfect candidate and by looking at this new rock on my finger I'm very taken!!!

"Diet for a Dead Planet" by Christopher Cook. The author is my best friends boyfriend and it was just released a couple of weeks ago. Very informative and interesting.

I think I've become much faster at make up because I've been doing it for 15+ years. I have my work makeup application, my "going out" make up, my "hanging out in the apartment and I may have to run to the store" makeup. I'm rarely without something. Even camping I have a tinted moisturizer and tinted lip balm. I do like it to look natural. Although there is rarely a time you will see me without my red "Dietrich" lipstick. As for the undereye situation, I am in love with Benefits "Eye Con" it's a cream for under your eyes that you put on in the morning and at night. It really does a lovely job at getting rid of the dark circles and depuffing. I also like the "Boi ing", which is the conceler for under the eyes, not cakey at all. :smiling:
