  1. Things have changed on here.. I don't know if I like it. Of course like always I hate change. (All this was not meant to be deep, I was merely mentioning that the format of DGN has changed..screw new versions, I like what I'm used to).
  2. awww unfortunately I'll be out of town that weekend. :( Perhaps next year.
  3. Vena, I think the last time you did X-Ball, was the last time I was there as well... damn time flies!
  4. I remember you! How have you been? Has it seriously been five years? Are you going to be at City Club? Doubt you remember me.. We really didn't talk too much.. Oddly, I have a hard time approaching people sometimes. Yeah, work trips are way more busy than anticipated usually.. I always think I'm going to sight see when I'm on trips, but I rarely get out of the hotel/office environment. Great to see you came back.. Hope you get to do some personal fun things.. Wow I'm a lot of questions & statements tonight.
  5. Hey, this is in my home town, I'll have to check it out this Tuesday.
  6. Hmm.. I would post here more often.. if I had more time in the day. I spend like 12 hours a day m-f on the computer, and then when I get home, I seriously don't want to turn the damn thing on. I've also been scarce from my friends from here, which I truly regret.. I got to stop doing that. I miss you guys, and I just need to suck up the tired excuses, and make some time for some of you. In the past 12 months, I've been to several different countries, and states traveling for work and whatever, which is stuff I really enjoy doing, but I also enjoy having an amazing group of friends whom I've seemed to have lost touch with along the way. I miss the days when I was in daily contact with some of you.. others of you, not so much, but that's called a family. We should plan a get together, and hang out. I miss you all, and am nostalgic for the days we all hung out fairly regularly. I have the same phone number as always, please send me a random text.. I will try to do the same.
  7. Two lumps of coal because I was a very very bad girl.. luckily they were compressed over time with a lot of pressure and heat, in the lovely form of black diamonds.. What is the greatest thing you've done that you're proud of?
  8. No, because I'll have parished in the coming end of the world scenerio December 2012 along with everyone else.. Figures great things may happen after an apocolypse. What was the most significant world event in your life (e.g. Y2K, 9/11, Elvis's passing)??
  9. This is the last time this has been updated? eeps!
  10. I do say fuck a lot.. In fact, it's almost like the way the Smurf's use the world smurt.. Smuff OFF!!! you smurfin smurf!!!
  11. Damn I have been in a hole for a very long time... I just thought it was awesome to watch someone eat that much sushi. I think the last time I saw him do it, the manager/owner had to introduce himself. When someone does that at an all you can eat place, that means you're eating too much..hehehe Either way, we should have a sushi fest in Stormy's honour. Pick a day, and I'll make myself available.
  12. Let me know when you're in town, it'd be great to say hi to you. Maybe we should all get together and do a sushi night again in your honour.
  13. Okay, I was not offended at all by your talking about me, talking about the film, I was just pointing out the fact that I didn't mention my opinion about the film, because I used my use of comparison of the film and not what I felt about the film to explain my usual patterns on movie watching. If I were offended, you'd know about it. Trust me. Nor did I feel that I was in any way condescending in my post. So I think you inflected more of your own emotions than any emotional undertones I may have placed in the post (that I was aware of). So many topics on DGN go way off topic (like this one has, now) because too many people try to derail the original topic. My post now no longer has anything to do with ISOYG and has everything to do with me trying to explain to you that I wasn't trying to be offensive or condescending in any way on my post. I honestly don't have the time or energy for it. Maybe I just won't post anything at all anymore and keep my posting to staff chat. I apologize if you took my post to be offensive. *shrugs* don't know what else to say.
  14. Neat! I may check this out. Tuesdays are odd for me. I will try to make it, I wanna see you anyway.
  15. There's nothing saying that you need to pay them all at once, if you pay a little here and a little there, they will see that you're trying to make things right. The more you pay, the less interest will build on it as well. Just take one stress at a time. Sorry for this news.. that sucks.
  16. Oh damn! I saw Franklyn, that movie was sweet! I am sorry that I missed that thread.. I'm going to go find it and reply... may not be today tho, I'm kind of in the middle of making dinner. eheh
  17. Psst.. if you read my post carefully, I didn't mention whether or not I liked the remade version or not, since this topic wasn't about "Let The Right One In/Let Me In" I was refraining from interjecting an opinion regarding the movies, but since you did mention the fact that I told you it was a waste of my time, I can now say that I felt that it was. The first one stood well enough on it's own. I am guessing that some of the translations were lost due to the subtitles when it came to what the relationship was between the old guy and the little vamp girl. The newer American version didn't really clarify that for me, but made it way more blatantly obvious. I am usually very good about picking up on subtle nuances of interpersonal interactions. I totally knew what that old man was, and I totally knew what that young kid was gonna be. I think the title kind of explains it for the most part. Oh gawd, I'm rambling. Anywho. Yeah, I didn't like the remake so much. It was okay, think I would have liked it better seen in the reverse order.
  18. Yeah.. I just called them after I posted, some asshole has it checked out (I just assume they're an asshole, cause they're getting in the way of my movie enjoyment), I gotta wait till tomorrow to see if s/he returned it.. hehe I was also checking on Netflix, I don't have an account, but thought maybe I should re-start it. I'm kinda not normal when it comes to things like that, I haven't seen conventional TV in almost five years, and just recently re-initiated my internet after a two year break. Anywho, they didn't have the new one either. :/ I hate waiting. I'm glad you enjoyed it, at least you didn't feel like you've wasted a couple hours. I just watched the trailer on the internet. Looks bloody.
  19. Hmm.. I guess I'm so far removed from caring about the reviews a bunch of people make about a movie (because in the past I have been steered WAAAAY off by them). I just watch what I find interesting, and then I form my own opinion on it. I actually didn't mean to switch the topic from ISOYG to "Let The Right One In/Let Me In". That's why I didn't even mention my feeling regarding either of them, just mentioning that I saw both of them to make the comparison, as a point of reference. As for ISOYG (the original), I am well used to re-watching things and being completely disappointed in them; so much so, that I changed my mental view on it, and try to remind myself of the technology and the artistic flair (with their allowed budgets), and their efforts for the time. I find that I am less disappointed when go into it with that mentality. God, now I wanna call Thomas Video up and ask them if they've got both..
  20. I haven't seen "I Spit On Your Grave" (the original one) in YEARS.. and I do mean years. So I planned on getting the new one when it came out on video and the old one and watch them back to back. I'm weird like that. I also did this with "Let The Right One In" and "Let Me In".. (even tho it wasn't YEARS between the making of both those movies). I like seeing the discrepancies and the similarities. I'll let you know what I think when I watch them both,(one of them again, and the other one anew) and have an educated and informed opinion.
  21. That picture rocks.. not the one of the cat, that's a tad bit frightening, and oddly cute at the same time. But the initial pic..Eevee you totally need to go with this look.
