Yeah even if I do decide to let them go outside on their own, I'll be checking on them frequently and keep windows open so I can hear them. I just feel bad when they can't go outside because I have stuff to get done around the house.1 point

They also did it for kids going to school. The idea was better chance of some daylight when the kids are heading to school in the morning. I know there has been talk of eliminating it. Hopefully they will do that.1 point
